Kogachi Orchids

I always see this vendor at the Honolulu Farmers Market. I was on a mission to find my sisters graduation party centerpieces… and my mom wanted White Orchids.
So I saw them a few months before the party and they suggested that I call during that month of the party to see their inventory. So I did and it was my luck… they had 30 white orchid pots. So I asked what the price differences were for the small pot and the medium pot. They gave me a wonderful price for the 6inch pots.
The owners name is Glenn and he is just fantastic to deal with. They offered to bring the plants to the farmers market so I didn’t have to drive to their farm in Waianae. I picked it up on Wednesday night and they had it all ready for me. He also mentioned that he gave me an extra free pot of orchid and I was so grateful for that. The flowers were extremely bloomed and beautiful. The medium pot has two roots attached and they hand potted each and every one of them.
Glenn had it in a cart and all ready in boxes. He also helped me bring it to my car and he was just the sweetest man. He is a bit older and he insisted that I didn’t carry any plants… He was just so wonderful and I could tell he really cared about his customers and his plants.
I will definitely go to him the next time I need to buy a bulk load of orchids or call him if I need any help in nursing any of them.
