Walking through the King’s Shops, Dolphin Galleries window display caught my eye. They sold Charms of Aloha bracelets similar to the Alex & Ani and Pandora ones, but with a Hawaiian theme. So to commemorate our trip to the Islands and do some way early Christmas shopping, I decided to get one for my wife. Leaving my wife shopping in Crazy Shirts across the way, I sneak over to Dolphin and ask about the charms. The nice sales ladies said I can buy one of the pre-made ones or customize my own, which is a great idea. I chose a bunch of sterling silver pineapples, sea turtles, plumeria, hibiscus, swirly glass beads and before I knew it, I spent a bundle. The bracelet is beautiful and is well worth it though. Completing my surrepticious purchase, I sneak back into Crazy Shirts with no one the wiser. Heh heh. (This review has been sitting in my bucket for the last 5 months after coming back from Hawaii. I had to wait until Christmas to post this review, so as not to let the cat out of the bag.)

Great assortments of jewelry & art tempt you at Dolphin Galleries They are the exclusive Big Island carrier of Mikel — the designer that made the«famous«open flower & barefoot necklaces everyone seems to get to remind them of Hawaii(but not me — I like pieces no one else has!) They also have other designers like Mark Patterson & his color-wavy sparklie necklaces & rings, to Magic w/their colorful enamels to these great blown glass heart pendants & regular olé sparklie sparklies They also carry Hawaiian Orchids blown glass & other fine glassware For fine art, among their many artists, they carry Dr Seuss — prices are same as you’ll find on the Mainland but best part is no tax & they offered to ship for free Indulge if you can — we sure did!
