I go into this shop every year when my husband and I visit. The quality of their men’s lightweight cotton shirts is incredible. They are pricey (around $ 80), but my husband still has every shirt we’ve bought over the last ten years. They are made to last. The workmanship is also top-​notch. Notice, for example, that the pattern on the pocket is perfectly aligned with the shirt pattern, so you can’t see where the pocket is just looking at the shirt.
My only gripe about this shop is the service. I suspect they sell a lot, so aren’t too concerned about going out of their way. For example, when we went in this year we saw a men’s swimsuit that we liked, but there was only one on display and it wasn’t my husband’s size. The sales associate did look in their computer to see if they had more in the store, but she said they were sold out. She didn’t say anything else. It occurred to me to look online, and sure enough I could order the suit in the size I wanted through the Tori Richard website. Why didn’t the sales associate suggest checking the website, or even offer to have it shipped to us from another store?
Overall, Tori Richard quality is great and they have many nice things, but the sales associates, although pleasant enough, don’t seem to go out of their way to help you get what you want. Be proactive and check the website if you see something you really like and need a different size.

Tori Richard is THE place to go for a high quality Aloha Shirt. I’ve been to this store for many years, growing up in the islands, and they are the ones to go to for great looking, quality shirts.

I actually went to the store in Whaler’s Village on the Kaanapali side. Gorgeous and unique hawaiian designs– but with a thought that you can wear these prints and dresses anywhere, not just in Hawaii.
Angela was fantastic and she helped me pick out two beautiful dresses.
They have a large selection of Men’s shirts as well, I just couldn’t get my husband to try one on, something about him being on vacation…

I wish I were rich and could buy every dress in this store, they are all perfect for a Hawaiian vacation. The dresses are made of beautiful lightweight materials and seem to float around you when you wear them. I couldn’t resist and bought a new dress to treat myself while on vacation. Clothing here is pricey and most dresses are $ 155+. The quality of the fabric and sewing justifies the high cost, besides when you’re on a vacation you ought to treat yourself to the things you like.
