The owner Anita is the sweetest. I ordered the white mocha and hamburger steak plate. I loved that she made my white mocha first so I could enjoy it while she cooked, which tasted amazing! The Hamburger steak was so juicy! It came with Rice, Mac salad(also have the option of green salad) 2 good sized patties, gravy and onions. Their prices are very reasonable. Wish I checked this place out sooner.

Walked across the street to finally try the plate lunches. First off I have to say this is one of the cleanest restaurants I have set foot in. Several plates to choose from but I decided on the chicken katsu curry. Made to order hot and fresh. Generous portion and very good with homemade mac salad. I like my curry a little bit hotter but it was really good. If you are looking for a good meal in Wailuku off Lower Main Street come here.

This little gem is tucked away in Wailuku Industrial Park. Sure, it’s not modern, but the décor is quaint and quite appealing… and extremely clean. Prices are very reasonable. Burger patties are formed from scratch. We ordered croissant sandwiches for an office blessing. Every single one of them was so yummy. Let’s help support this small owner operated business! I honestly don’t get the comments about Costco prepared. It’s not. Try for yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Heard about Java Bee from my mom she said their burgers are really good. Tried their cheeseburger deluxe and it was the . Didn’t taste store bought at all definitely home made and it was a large burger not those itty bitty ones. will definitely make a breakfast trip one day.

Did I mention the hamburgers here are THEBOMB!!! Have I said how GREAT the hamburgers are!!! Can I tell you how DELICIOUS the hamburgers are!!! These are«crack hamburgers!» They should open a Java Bee hamburger’s anonymous support group for when Java Bee is closed! I’m completely addicted and will surpass the«dollar menu» hamburgers for one of Java Bee’s hamburgers anytime! I will scrounge through my couch cushions, the seats of my car, the seats of your car, the seats on the bus, the floors of all the stores, the pockets of all my laundry, just so I can buy more! I am a self-proclaimed addict!!! I have gotten friends and family addicted as well! The first thing I always hear when I bring them to Java Bee is «how long has this place been open?,» or «I didn’t know about this place,» or «isn’t this just a coffee shop?» When they walk in, they are always pleasantly surprised, and when they taste the food, they are more pleasantly surprised. Java Bee is located in same location where the old Maui Karaōke used to be, in the Wailuku Industrial area. I took a friend of mine who raved about the hamburger steak from the other place in the Millyard and who was craving their hamburger steak one day when I tricked him and brought him to Java Bee. After he had the hamburger steak at Java Bee, he refuses to visit the other place anymore and has brought his family here as well. He told me they’ve gone there at least twice in one week! «crack hamburger» addict! I have had family members try the burgers I brought over to them, who have raved about the taste and juiciness and who can’t wait to go there on their own. They keep asking me where Java Bee is and what their hours are. Very simple hours — Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and Sundays from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The owner actually stays later on certain days, depending on the crowd, or may close early too, also depending on the crowd. Contrary to another Unilocaler saying these are Costco burgers, I have to say, if Costco’s burgers were this good, I would have a freezer full of this stuff! The burgers are obviously homemade and are not frozen patties bought from the stores. I can attest to that! May’s teriyaki patties taste nothing like this and the Costco frozen patties have a very processed taste to them. They may buy the ground beef from Costco, but the seasonings are their own! Oh, and did I mention the $ 5.00 breakfast special??? For 5 bucks, you get: 2 eggs, 2 scoops of rice and your choice of bacon(5 pieces), portugese sausage(half a ring), vienna sausage(1 whole can) or spam(4 large pieces). That blows away any other place I can think of! If you’re looking for other type of local foods, Java Bee also has Chicken Katsu, Chopped Steak, Beef Tomato, Shrimp dishes and sandwiches. They also have smoothies, along with their coffee beverages. Only part is you may have to wait, since there is only one cook and the place is small. Call ahead to order your stuff — that’s what I do! Keep in mind, fresh hamburgers usually take about 15 minutes to cook through, so anticipate that amount of wait time for the hamburger dishes. If I didn’t love this place so much, I would keep it a secret, but since I want them to stay open so I can continue my «crack hamburger» addiction, I have to share! You won’t regret it, trust me! Had a hamburger steak, cheeseburger, fries, and a mocha. Mocha was a little watery. Store bought burgers and fries — pretty sure they are costco teri burgers. Generous amount of onions in the hamburger steak. Probably package brown gravy. Mac salad was pretty good. Cheeseburger was loaded witg mayo. Staff are friendly but during lunch hours you can probably expect a long wait. I waited 30 min. Costco prepared meals… not really my thing. But, if you work construction, you’ll probably enjoy. Just ask for extra gravy all ova da rice… chee!

Big Fan! Their lunch menu is great especially if you work in the area and need to call in an order! My office orders from there weekly and is never disappointed! And all of their coffee’s and drinks are delicious. Great service.

I am giving this coffee shop two stars because the staff was nice, however I have not eaten such poor quality food for long time. I am writing this review to help them realize that unless they change they will not have a thriving business. The décor is also very basic and the cooler has a display of coke and other cheap drinks. The room was unbearably hot with two very inefficient air conditioners. I wouldn’t come back. Sorry.

This is a very cute shop never knew about it until today. They’re located right next to The Vapeshack 808. The lady in there was very VERY nice, but I didn’t really like what we got. HONEYDEWBUBBLETEA: I LOVETHETAPIOCA. It wasn’t hard like other places. But there wasn’t much honeydew taste. ROOTBEERSHAVEICE: Not enough syrup. The top was good, but ½inch in it was just straight ice. No syrup. They do have a bunch of other stuff though; coffee, lattes bagels, croissant sandwiches. I’d be willing to go try their other stuff one day. :) 2⁄5 stars for how sweet the lady was.
