The best deal on the island for wedding packages. Co took care of all of the details that were expected. Any questions I had were answered beforehand, either by phone call or email. If you truly have an Aloha spirit and are willing to give up a huge amount of control to someone that lives however many hundred miles away from you, then let Marry Me Maui do it for you. When it came to the ceremony everything was perfect. The after photoshoot was a bit generic and cheezy. The expectation to «keep smiling» may not work for every couple. All in all we had a great time, great wedding, and a perfect day.

LOOKATALLOFTHEBADEXPERIENCESWITHTHISCOMPANY SAVEYOURMONEY CO never returned calls, they definitely FAILED to coordinate the wedding. My overall experience with this company has been a joke. This is a Mom and Pop company that does just enough to possibly have an argument that they provided services. Read the other reviews on this site and make an educated decision! Go to the Better Business Bureau you’ll see this company has a «D» rating.

Didn’t have the best experience with Marry Me Maui by any means. Co started off very helpful but I soon realized that she was only willing to do the bare minimum(exactly what is in their«packages») and would either charge you and arm and a leg to do anything else or told me I needed to take care of it. Example, I wanted to take pre-ceremony pictures at our hotel and asked her if we could do this(we were paying extra to have Joe the photographer come early to take pictures of us getting ready) and she sent a short reply back saying that I would need to check with the hotel to see if that was ok… isn’t that what a wedding planner is for??? I did ask her to have the in-room hair and makeup stylists add my two sisters which she then charged me a ridiculous«planning fee», $ 40 for a phone call? REALLY? I ended up making most of my own reservations, getting my flowers, leis, and bridesmaid bouquets because her fees and costs were completely exorbitant. At the ceremony, Co showed up in an old t shirt and raggy cutoffs. I was embarrassed and several of my guests were a little horrified at how disrespectful it was. She handed me my bouquet(which was part of the package) and it was completely wrong. I had sent her a picture of what I wanted, only Casablanca Lilies and tropical greenery. I ended up with a bouquet that was mostly white roses, with a few of the Lilies but they weren’t even open yet; on top of it all, the bouquet looked like it had been sitting around for a while, most of the flowers were browning on the edges.(My bridesmaid bouquets were 10x better than my bouquet, I wish I had just gotten my bouquet where I ordered theirs from). Then our pictures *sigh*. They told us 8 – 10 weeks to get our pictures. Our wedding was in mid-September, I didn’t get our pictures until the second weekend in December and that was after me having to remind them and ask more than once. The«edited» pictures we got from Joe weren’t exactly edited… more like lightened and that’s about it. Don’t expect pictures that they showcase on their website where everyone has perfect glowing skin and no blemishes. I ended up having to re-edit all the pictures with Photoshop(think people in the background, wrinkles, blemishes, double-chins, etc) so plan on having a photo-editing program of your own. The redeeming graces that kept this review at a two was that we absolutely loved our minister(Reverend Dennis De Rego) and our ukulele musician. After editing the photos myself, I was also fairly pleased with the shots that Joe got.

We used Marry Me Maui for our wedding. Joe and Co did a good job… we weren’t too happy with the videoographer they provided and we were a little dissappointed that we only recieved one sunset photo that had a swimmer in the background. Joe is a good photographer and Co is very organized. If you go with Marry Me Maui, expect a very cookie cutter package. Also, be very careful not to get confused by the amount time your package includes for the day of coordinating. The amount of photography that you pay for is also the ONLY amount of time that you will receive from Co as you day of wedding coordinator. We feel this should be a little more clear on their website.
