Maui Skin & Body Studio

I moved a couple of months ago from the mainland where I was very comfortable with my wax specialist. When I got to searching for a new place I found Laura at Maui Skin & Body Studio. Laura made me feel so relaxed and at ease. I am super particular about my waxing especially my eyebrows and she worked with me by giving me a mirror, showing me how far she was going and how much she was taking off. My eyebrows have never looked so spectacular since ive been coming to see Laura. Her location is clean, relaxing, serene and professional. She uses top notch products and my skin feels wonderful. Laura is so nice, professional, friendly and is up to speed with the latest products and techniques. My next visit will be to do her facials. Ive heard they are amazing. I will rate once ive tried. I recommend her with 5 stars. Go check it her out. You wont be disappointed.

Laura is the whole package! I go to her for facials, Brazilians, and facial waxing. Her waxing techniques make the experience as painless as possible. Her waxing techniques are hygienic and meticulous– always making sure that I am satisfied before I leave. Her facials are very relaxing and she uses products that do not irritate my skin. She is also very professional and comfortable to be around. I completely recommend Laura!

Juvy shapes your eyebrows to your fave shape. I have a round face and she made the angles perfect to slim it out. The only person I will go to.

Juvy is by far my favorite esthetician! And I’ve seen quite a few over the years. She’s so personable and I always get such great tips from her at every appointment. She’s also really great to talk to which makes the appointment all the more enjoyable. Her experience really shows in her work and her technique is great.

I just adore Laura. She is professional, kind, caring and takes her work seriously. I was scared and turned off from waxing after a bad experience about a year ago, but then found Laura through a friend of mine, and I’m so grateful to have found her.
You walk in to her office knowing you are going to be cared for. It’s clean, quiet and she uses the best wax/​equipment. Every little detail matters to her and she makes sure she did a thorough job before you even leave her office.

Brazilian wax was 15 mins and she used a soy-​wax which left no irritation to the skin or redness. I wasn’t left sticky either, she is a clean waxer and so efficient!

This review is long over due! I was referred to Laura from a friend of mine, best referral I have ever gotten!!! Ever since I was a kid I have struggled with acne and skin confidence. My skin has always been something I try to hide behind makeup. Until I met Laura! For the first time in my life I have received compliments on my skin! After receiving a facial from Laura my skin began to glow! I followed her recommendations of skin care products to maintain the health of my skin in between facials and I couldn’t be happier! I have also received multiple waxing services from her and I promise you they are less painful! I asked what her secret was and she informed me she uses a special high end wax from Europe that makes the entire experience way more comfortable for the client! I highly recommend Maui skin and body! Laura is not only a talented esthetician but she is a joy to be around. Her calming demeanor will leave you feeling good from the inside out.

Maui Skin and Body is a beautiful location convenient to all parts of the island. I have been following Laura since day one and absolutely love this location!
She puts such care and love into her work and never stops educating herself to be at the top of her game! I now live in NYC part time but only do my skincare services here!!!

I just got my eyebrows waxed by Laura. The experience was painless and my brows look amazing! The studio is clean, quaint and peaceful. The location is super convenient. Laura is very professional and really takes the time to understand what you want. I have also had a facial done by her and it was luxurious and invigorating. My skin was literally glowing when it was over and I felt so relaxed. I highly recommend coming here!

Laura has a sweet disposition and is very well educated on skin care. I love the time and attention I get while under her care.
I appreciate the tools she uses like the high frequency wand down to the little details like lavender essential oil on warm towels.

Had a wonderful experience! Juvy is very attentive and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with her. The room was very open, and allowed in lots of sunlight. I got a Brazilian wax. I barely felt any pain. She talked me through the whole experience. Juvy even made sure I was happy with the final result before leaving, taking time to go over any missed spots. She was very patient with me. I would definitely go see her again!
