Bellows Air Force Station

An old college buddy of mine is in the military so she covered our stay for the weekend here while in Oahu! We rented a beach cottage and it was absolutely incredible. The cottages are a nice option because they have showers, electricity, tv, a kitchen and etc. It’s like GLAMPING… that’s glamorous camping, folks! It sits right on Waimanalo beach so you can head out in the mornings and go for a sunrise run or walk while watching the waves come in. It’s very safe, clean, quiet and pretty much the best way to see a beautiful scenic side without the crowds and a ton of folks everywhere! I was so happy and felt so lucky to have stayed here! You can also legit camp here, they have a public beach area and also cabins.

As always, the military has the primo locations, especially in Hawaii.

Absolutely beautiful place to relax, body board, boogie board, swim, taking the Sun, camp, stay in a cabin, or just take a walk on the beach. Those who are stationed here are very lucky indeed! Please note that no pets are allowed on the Air Force Station. And the sunrise is absolutely amazing!
There is a shoppette, a subway, a snack shop, and a mini golf as well.
The only drawback is that it can get a little windy at times.
