This is my go-to snack spot whenever im shopping in waikele. I usually order either the shanghai lumpia or the veggie w/pork and both are equally satisfying. The veggie lumpia is definitely heavier on the veggies than pork though, so if you’re looking for a meatier snack… opt for the shanghai. And my suggestion is to ONLYEVERCHOOSE the VINEGARSAUCE. If you’re gunna go for filipino food, you need to commit to the most authentic sauces(lol, can you tell… im anti-sweet chili sauce on really… anything) Once they renovated their booth(i remember the ORIGINAL lumpia stand which was teeny). they added more items to their menu beside the lumpia. Today i tried their pancit and cascaron along with my usual lumpia order. The pancit is decent, its not the most flavorful i’ve tasted and could definitely use more meat inside, but it does the trick when you’re craving you’re filipino fix… i didn’t ask if they had calamansi which would’ve made it a little better. The cascaron(fried mochi balls w/glaze) is yummy, not as heavy as i have tried at other spots which is a plus! They also have bentos w/foods like pork guisantes or pork adobo with rice. Those were just sitting on the counter which is the only thing i was put off by… i feel like bentos like that should at least be under a hot lamp… not just sitting room temp. In their defense i think they only make like two at a time to serve so theyres not many just sitting and waiting to be eaten. Anywho, i love Alyssandras for their lumpia & quick fix filipino dishes. Will continue to be a loyal customer!

If you’re on a budget and don’t feel like shelling out more money than you should for a decent size lunch… Alyssandra’s is your place AND you don’t have to wait hella long for your food because most of it is pre-made/packaged. The only thing they cook on-site is the lumpia. Pancit is a popular item and typically sells out because for the people unfamiliar with Filipino food, they see noodles and it’s a go. What I like about be Pancit other than price and portion is that it isn’t super packed with vegetables and you actually get pancit. When Pancit and Chicken Adobo are unavailable I like to order pork lumpia and garlic fried rice(of course. If available). I’m also a fan of the butter Mochi– my coworker recommended it to me and I wish she didn’t because I ALWAYS ask for it. The three stars is for the lack of consistency of their menu items. Out of 10 visits they only had butter mochi 4 times(this is spread over 2 weeks and all at different times) and of all those visits Chicken Adobo was never available. The reason for this is that there is one person responsible for the butter Mochi, who is also a student, and bakes around her schedule– which is great, but sad for people like me who check back here almost religiously(desperate even). Not sure how the other menu items are decided/scheduled. I’ve walked away empty handed more times than I care to count because what I wanted to eat/order was not available that day. My most recent visits have been unsuccessful. But I will update my review after a few more visits.

Great deal! 6 lumpia for $ 5.50. Not bad considering the price of pork went up. I got 3 veggie/pork, &3 Shanghai. Super hot & fresh. I definitely want to come back try more of their stuff

Very disappointed with this establishment. My wife ordered some lumpia and when we but into it only the outer layer of the banana lumpia was cooked. I went back to inform them that it was undercooked, the cashier gave me this look like it was my fault and stated that they always cook it like that, otherwise it would be burnt. I then replied my mother makes lumpia and it’s cooked thoroughly and not burnt. She had no reply and then sassily asked if I wanted newly cooked ones. Upon them remaking them the lady cooking the lumpia was eating peanuts(side note: my child has a peanut allergy and the gd could have gone really bad.) while prepping banana lumpia. Being in the food industry eating while preparing or making any food items is a big NONO. What even makes it worse is that she did not even wash her hands, due to lack of a hand washing sink. I informed my wife of what I saw and went back to inform the ladies. My wife explained that our child has a peanut allergy and something severe could have happened to him. They were very unapologetic and seemed like it was not a big deal. If I could give no stars I would but it won’t let me. Hopefully DOH retracts there green placard and replace it with a red.

Today is my last time ordering here. My 2 year old son bit into undercooked Lumpia and my concerned husband went to return Lumpia to ask to see if we can get it recooked. My husband came back and stated the women looked irritated with him, but, what made it worse was one of the women rolling the Lumpia had a bag of raw PEANUTS out eating it with her hands and rolling banana Lumpia next to the raw ground meat & banana. I didn’t recognize this when I first ordered, so maybe it was a blessing that the food was undercooked & my husband went back to return. (Earlier) Prior to ordering I asked her if there was peanuts or peanut products due to allergy & she said«no». When I returned I explained my son can die from peanuts and they did not seem concerned, or apologetic. I returned the Lumpia with no refund. I’m so disappointed and saddened by this event. If I could rate 0, I would.

I definitely would stay away from this place. Red card should be issued. The lady is the cashier and the cook. I saw her take payment by cash and immediately right after wrap the lumpia with her bare hands without even washing them. If you look, they don’t even have a sink. I would give zero stars if possible!

Everytime we go to the Waikele outlets we always stop by and pick up lumpia. It’s so simple but tastes great. I went today with my mother in law and she wanted just freshly cooked ones so I asked and the cashier had such an irritated look on her face! It made me feel bad but they were making more anyways. She tried to give me the one she had in the box and she let me touch the bag. It felt cold but she insisted it was just made. So I waited for the fresh ones and when I got it she asked me what sauce I wanted I asked for one of each and again she gave me that irritated face. Love their lumpia but I really dislike the customer service. Still going to purchase the lumpia though lol!

There’s better lumpia out there, but good for a quick fix. I just don’t like seeing the cashier use her bare hands taking peeling apart the lumpia wrappers after taking money from the customer in front of me. I quickly cancelled my order. Thinking if this is a regular practice, the food inspector should issue a RED card instead of green. No thank you!!!

Lumpia is delicious. Great when you are shopping and don’t want a big meal… just a nice snack with friends. They also sell fried rice, pancit, and plate lunch. Service was fast and friendly.

Very tasteful and the lady is so sweet. I eat here like twice a week. She also has bentos which is Ono but kinda pricey. If you in the mall you gotta try it.

Shopping and getting a little haaangry?! When I’m at Waikele shopping, there is only ONE option for me: Alyssandra’s lumpia. It is the b.o.m.b. So crispy and tasty — like a taste explosion in your mouth. I can’t really recommend any other places to eat at Waikele Outlets just yet. They’ve always struggled to have good eats, especially on the upper side.(They’ve just remodeled the area, so let’s hope for better food options.) My current two go-tos are: Alyssandra’s lumpia and anything at Godiva.(Haha, ok, Godiva does not have«real» food, but gotta love their chocolates & Trufflelatas!) So when you’re in the area and need a quick pick-me-up, try the lumpia and enjoy shopping at one of my favorite places on the island! #iheartshopping

Really good lumpias, but it takes awhile to make if they dont have some pre-made. Theres only one fryer so that is also another thing that slows down their business.

Looked up lumpia in Honolulu since Turtle Bay resort stopped my favorite stand, the Kahuku stand up on the North Shore, from selling banana lumpia and bbq on a stick. I found Alyssandra’s place on Unilocal.Went there today. Picked up 6 banana and 6 pork lumpia. Chose the spicy chile dipping sauce for the pork. They were so good that my wife and I ate all of them right there in the parking lot. My new place to get lumpia. If you haven’t tried them, you are missing out of a great snack.

Stopping at Alyssandra’s Lumpia was a nice surprise! I shared vegetable lumpias with my husband. They were very fresh made and tasty! 6 big veggie lumpias for $ 5.25 and they accept credit cards except Amex. I recommend sharing because they are very filling. They also have pork only and bananas. I believe I saw yakisoba too. As of right now, the cart is tucked into the corner of perfumania because of the construction.

Shopping is a serious sport. It requires strength(to tote around bags of clothes and shoes and more bags), endurance(to stop and browse at every store), and patience(to comb through racks for the perfect item). Serious athletes need serious fuel. Thank God Waikele Premium Outlets has Alyssandra’s Lumpia Express! I am no connoisseur of lumpia, but I think it is safe to say that Lumpia Express makes some of the best! The menu includes Pork+Vegetable, Pork(Shanghai), and Banana. The lumpia is never soggy or too oily as they only make a few at a time. Each bag is $ 5 and you get 6 lumpias as well as sauce. You can choose between Sweet Chile or Vinegar. They only give you two sauces, so ration wisely!

I love good Filipino food, and you always have room for lumpia. I love getting their shanghai lumpia. Try it!!! And get the vinegar sauce. I always get the shanghai and ask for extra vinegar, because it’s just not enough for me.(My 3 year old loves the vinegar sauce. So I have to get her own.) They will charge extra for extra sauce, though, but it’s cheap enough. Something like 2 for $ 0.25 or something like that. They sell other Filipino food. I have, yet, to try how good theirs is.(I’m kinda picky with Filipino food.) I never seem to order anything other than the lumpia, because we’re usually at Waikele to eat at one of the restaurants. Try their lumpias. Always crispy, never soggy or stale. Pretty good. Good snack to have while shopping around Waikele.

I can’t believe I hadn’t reviewed my fave Filipino food quick stop yet after years of eating here! ATMOSPHERE: Look for the red kiosk in the Waikele Outlets across from Banana Republic. Take out only but there are uncovered tables to sit at in the blazing Waikele sun. FOOD: Lumpia — Veggie & pork. Holy hell, this is damn good! I decline all dipping sauces because it has so much flavor already. Always piping hot and fresh out of the fryer. Pancit — Very, very, very good. Clear & yellow noodles with bits of pork. SERVICE: Super friendly and quick. OVERALL: Hot, fresh & delicious Filipino food in a jiffy!
