First off, I will say that this review is not based on his medical knowledge or skills. For all I know, he could be an amazing doctor. This is solely based off of my phone encounter. After reading one of the reviews and finding out that he schedules his own appointments and it was NOT a secretary I was talking to… let me just say that his phone etiquette is VERY unprofessional. I have never experienced such brash behavior in a business setting. I had to make an appointment for someone. When I called, a male answered. I couldn’t make out what he said(he probably said his name because it was basically a 1 second response), so to be sure I had the right number, I said, «Hi. Is this doctor Howard Neudorf’s office?» His response? «I’m busy. What do you need?» Literally. «I’m busy. What do you need?» I then explain why I was calling and that I needed to make an appointment for someone. He responds with a date and time. Like a professional, I repeat the date and time to insure I heard him right. He then responds in a slowed, sarcastic speech like I’m an incompetent 2 year old with the SAME date and time I just verified. A simple, «Yes.» would have sufficed. The tone he spoke to me in is how I imagine a man speaking to his wife that he’s completely sick and irritated of. I won’t even get into the rest of the conversation(which was short), but I will say that his phone etiquette can be summed up as rude and abrasive.

He is a great Dr. He cares and know what he is doing. Always tells me what I need to hear and not what I want to hear. The office is a small space and everything seems like he runs it himself. Receptionist duties to the doctor stuff. When I need an appointment he is usually able to see me within a day or two at the most. I just hate the parking situation here by the office but atleast there is a lot across the street where u can pay and park for cheap.

I had to switch pcp’s and my insurance recommended this doctor to me. His location is convenient for me because I live in Kapolei. It was hard for me to find at first but he’s located across from Shiro’s and Bank of Hawaii in Waipahu on the corner and Times Super Market is right next to it as well. He doesn’t have a receptionist and his work phone is his personal phone. He’s not very good at phone etiquette and answers rather abruptly. I’ve gotten used to that, I’m just lazy to switch pcp’s already. LOL I like him as a doctor he cares and gives good advice. When I need a doctors note for school or work he doesn’t give me any hassle when I come in to get checked up on. His schedule is kind of all over the place so make sure to call. His office has no bathroom. There’s free parking. Appointments are recommended.
