Subway

Always feel welcomed as soon as you walk in. Sandwich choices are superb. I always get the same 3 sandwiches but mix it up with the different vegetable choices and condiments. The mixes of chips is awesome. The soup choices changes daily (wish they offered different sizes) But its the staff at this location that makes me come back often. They are always smiling and are there to serve you. Oh and the cookies… The cookies are fresh.

Amazing service– the two female workers that were working had smiles on their faces the entire time, welcomed & greeted customers walking through the door, replied with «ma’am» and «sir,» and made sure the sandwiches were made just how the customer wanted it. I never thought I’d write a review for Subway, but I felt that these group of ladies deserve a praise report! :-)

A worker named Amy helped me yesterday. First she was rude as hell. Second I asked for jalapeños and she put like THREE pieces. Really? I’m paying for this overpriced sandwhich at least make it good. She wasn’t friendly at all & she didn’t listen to what the heck I was ordering. Your job isn’t hard. The place was empty. Jesus quit if you don’t like it. Terrible!

Lamest most stingy Subway I’ve been to. I didn’t want onions, olives, and peppers so asked for extra lettuce but they refused to give extra lettuce! That’s never happened at any other Subway before. Never coming back to this location.

Just ate here. they ran out of alot of the veggies, no crackers for soup, no apple slices for kids meal. 2 workers only 1 helping customers the other was doing signs with a long line. It was freezing in the store

After a while the sandwiches tend to taste the same but you can’t beat the monthly specials. Subway does a good job of providing variety for the sub of the month affording customers the opportunity to try something they would have probably not have tried.
This location is near my house so if I want something healthy and quick I come here. I never had a problem with service or the meal.
I’m a fan of this place and Subway in general.

Friendly staff and fresh veggies. If you’re a frequent flier like me, the staff there will greet you by name.
During lunch time, it gets pretty busy so be patient because SOMETIMES they have only 1 staff working and another 1 prepping

My favorite Subway to eat at! When you walk in, the workers greet you EVERY time. They are quick at making your sandwich or salad. The veggies are super fresh, never experienced any old tomatoes! One thing that I really like about this location is the COLD A/​C! Maybe that’s the reason the veggies are nice and crisp… hmmm!

I usually love subways but not so much love for this one. The establishment is clean and the staff are super nice. The problem is the sandwiches. I dont understand how all these subways follow the same rules for making the same sandwiches and yet their version of it is sooooo blah! I put everything on that club and it tasted like a head of lettace. As I looked around it seemed that everyone had the same boring look on their faces as I did. Im guessing its not just me. I should of ate at the gas station.

I actually find myself having to say the same things over and over again. I swear to you I said «with Pickles,» the woman then responded with «sorry we’re out of Avocado.»
Really. Well I should be asking «Is there really someone that stupid to hire someone who cannot speak English?» I understand that you need to be fair to everyone — but if that means the language barrier is stopping the employee of giving the customer excellent service; then I think they should be working in the back or at another job.
I really hate when a customer walks in and orders something in a Foreign Language, but when I order mine in ENGLISH mine comes out wrong…
As for the taste of the sandwich, it’s very bland. No matter what I order it all sorta has the same taster. I guess a sandwich is a sandwich but maybe there should better tasting options.

I havent been to Subway in a couple of months so I went for lunch today. I didnt know they were running a $ 6 footlong special all month! If I had known that, I probably would have come a lot more this month.
I got the same service that I always get. Quick and the sandwiches are good!

At this establishment they seriously need more workers. There were only 2 working, on of which was working pretty slowly… I arrived during prime lunch time, around 1245. and there were quite a few people waiting already and even a few more came in after me. One of the workers was doing the cash register AND making sandwiches, while the other worker only knew how to do the sandwich making. When she had to get more chicken from the back (for my chipotle chicken and cheese sandwich) she took her sweet ol time considering the amount of people behind of me. The lady making sandwiches and doing the cash register was nice enough to greet each person that walked in so that was nice; she was also fast at making the sandwiches, refilling, and taking the money so that was great of her. Overall, despite the slow service from one of the workers, I love subways because they have their monthly $ 6 foot long deals and that their sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and made right in front of you very eyes. I also love that you get to choose and customize your meal to your liking.

Always wondered why my wife never goes to this location. It is less than a mile from my house but she will go to Waipahu Town Center instead. Could be that there is more of a selection of food places in that area.
Anyway back to the sandwich. Tried the August Special Buffalo Chicken sandwich. Not as abundant as you see on TV but still very tasty. Had it toasted on Whole Wheat with provolone cheese. The only fillings I put on was:
Ranch Dressing
Lettuce
Spinach
Olives
Salt/​Pepper
Assembled well and not falling apart. My only beef is that there were only 2 workers and the wait was kinda lengthy. They were courteous. Although I am not a big fan of Subway, I will find my way there a couple more times this month for he Buffalo Chicken. OH forgot to mention the cost is $ 6.00 and is their $ 5.00($ 6.00) special.

I’m usually satisfied when I make a trip to this subway location. Good service, but I rarely see the workers washing their hands. They use gloves, so I guess it’s alright.
The one thing I absolutely HATE about this subway though, is the placement of their ice-​breathing air conditioner. It blows freezing cold air right where you place your order, and you can still feel it at the other end where you pay. I always find myself shivering and my teeth chattering as I’m standing in line making my order. PLEASE point the vent a little more upward!
Other than that, I give this place 4 stars.

My sandwich technician was generous with the greens and made my footlong meatball to the standard.
There is only one small table to eat on since its located inside of a convenience store, so plan on taking your order to go.

I’ve gone to different Subway before but this Subway which is located few blocks to where I live I tried at least three or four times. Food is still good but customer service fm the old Filipino lady with short curly hair and wears glasses is the worst customer service ever in my life. Very rude and disrespectful to me and other staff. She never smile she never say thank you she never say sorry when she make a mistake!!! She really need to quit her job if she hate her job and not ruin my good days and other people out there. Now I have to get my subway someplace because of this disrespectful lady who has no class whatsoever. The other Filipino lady with long hair is very nice and helpful that’s why I’m giving this Subway at least one star but in reality she gets 5.

I enjoyed subways when they use to have the spicy buffalo chicken foot long for 5 dollars but ever since they took it away and brought it back more expensive I only come here when there is nothing else I want to eat.

Okay sing it! Thank goodness Hawaii Subway didn’t raise the price like other deals. Don’t you hate that when you see a commercial and in small print you see except in Hawaii and Alaska. So good job Subway. Hey you can’t beat a footlong sandwhich for $ 5. Can’t really say anything bad about Subway. Fresh bread and veggies for a satisfying meal
