Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at this particular location. I have always used Miller Paints, but since moving to Wilsonville, Sherwin Williams is much closer. I was convinced to buy something different than what my drywall contractor asked for. When the primer I purchased did not perform correctly(paint peeling off the texture) I asked to return the product and exchange it for the original primer I had wanted(oil based). I was not treated like a valuable customer and I was repeatedly told that it must have been something else — the tape, my contractor, length of time for drying… I have been painting interiors of my homes for many years having dealt with primer, texture, painting, tape, etc.(Heck, I’ve painted TILE before and never had the paint peel!) They gave me the exchange but made me feel like an idiot. In all the years of painting I had never had paint peel off before. The only difference was the primer. I will not be returning to this store.

My favorite of the bunch. After a two year hiatus, I am currently in the throws of a painting frenzy at my house. And while I always feel tempted by Miller Paints(Devine) and Benjamin Moore, I’ve been pretty happy with Sherwin-Williams. Of my three local stores, this branch is my favorite. It opened about six months ago and is a nice retail space. Some of the other locations feel more geared toward professional painters and aren’t as user friendly for customers that want to go through the displays and sample cards. My service experience at this location has been outstanding. In addition to a wide variety of paint options, my latest discovery is the Fathead line of sports decals. Life-size murals of your favorite sports stars or team helmets. I am getting my Christmas shopping done early this year! Sign up as a preferred customer(just provide your name, address and phone number) and receive 10% off your purchases and advance notice of their sales. One final note. Spend a little extra money and buy the frog tape. Don’t know why I spent years using the blue painter’s tape.
