A fitting little antique shop located in the historical main street of Wake Forest. There are two stories of random items from across the decades. I wish I had more time to look through the selection, but this is a place if you are in the mood for treasure hunting!

My girlfriend and I were in Wake Forest looking to buy a house and came across this place. I HATE antique shops normally, but stuck around and looked. It’s very clean and organized inside and the prices are great! After leaving, we went across the street to White Street Brewery. The owner must have seen us, as about 15 minutes later, he came over and told us he had forgotten to give us a coupon for next time. So nice of him to do that. What a great place!

Adorable shop with a nice selection. The woman at the counter asked if we needed any help and was really sweet. Prices are fair. I’ll be back!

Just like stepping into Grandma’s house. Warm, welcoming and very friendly. They have amassed an amazing collection of items from the early 1900’s to about the 1960’s. Everything is in great shape and their pricing is fair and reasonable. We love the downtown Wake Forest area and always stop at For Old Times Sake.

What a charming little shop nestled in the heart of the town of Wake Forest! Every nook and cranny is perfectly stacked and arranged with a wide assortment of treasures. Antique typewriters, old books, jewelry, cameras, furniture, globes, signs, dishes and much more are woven through a creaky wooden floor showroom. It is a true pleasure to just wander around and look at all the intriguing items. And, if the first floor doesn’t have something to piqué your interest, head on upstairs to room after room of more amazing offerings. It appears that various vendors have sections or even full rooms of their items. You will definitely notice a theme in some areas… for example, in the very last room, there is a charming baby theme: a creative wall papered with sheets of music is the backdrop to clever, perfectly placed little gifts… some antiques and some very crafty barrettes and other homemade cuteness. The prices are actually very reasonable as far as antiques go. My daughter found a Vera Wang quilted purse for just $ 10! This is absolutely a don’t-miss-it type of shop for antique lovers — I highly recommend it!

I love a good find, and I LOVE a good deal! Not only do I love«For Old Times Sake» because I have only found neato stuff here, but I love that the owners are HUGE supporters of Wake Forest! I am not an antique expert or collector by any means, but each time I stroll in, I find something I have to have! Some of the finds are a retro aluminum Christmas tree, a cute holiday clutch, antique cocktail rings, and gift items for collectors for friends/family. The great thing is that everytime I visit, there is something new! The pieces really seem to move in and out pretty often so it is not the same old stuff sitting around. My faves are the antique jewelry items! Fun stuff!
