Homestead Building Company

While from a general perspective this builder did a decent job in constructing the home that gets completely obfuscated by the fact they they do NOT honor their warranty. From my perspective anyone who chooses not to stand behind the quality of their work cannot be trusted and should never be hired. All things considered I would recommend shopping for a different builder. Some of their sub contractors did good work while others practiced shoddy craftsmanship. Some of Homestead’s business practices are good while others clearly lack probity and demonstrate untrustworthiness. With the quantity of reputable builders available in the area I see no reason to hire someone who knowingly and overtly chooses to not do what is right.

Homestead Building Company built our home in Heritage neighborhood in Wake Forest. Our home was completed on time and within our budget. We found that Jeff was very helpful when we had questions. We feel that our home is well built, and an excellent value for the money. We would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to build a great home in Wake Forest!

We used Homestead to build our house and it truly was a nightmare. They used the least qualified and cheapest subcontractors they could find and the results was a poorly built house. They claim to be Christian and to do a good job but the reality is directly the opposite.
