My mom has had ABC health aids in her home for the past two years. It was just a few hours a week to help with chores, shopping, bathing. .. But this winter, my mom got very sick. She went from preparing her own meals to not being able to be left alone at all. ABC was incredible at working with us to match staff to my rather picky mother and providing extensive coverage on very little notice. It’s so hard to manage aging of a loved one. We are so grateful to have the kind, professional help of this agency.

This company was hired to care for my elderly grandmother who is with hospice, and my grandfather who suffers from dementia. The care provided was below sub par. If I could give 0 stars I would. Not only are the aids that are sent to «help» in the home lazy, the owner lacks professionalism. Janette Sheehan has no ability to speak to people, or control her emotions. She left a threatening message on my mother’s voicemail. She called the day of the blizzard and gave very little notice that no one would be going to the house for 36 hours to provide care due to the snow. Ultimately, Janette canceled the care contract, through the hospice agency, with less than 12 hours notice. She cannot take constructive criticism in regards to how her employees fall shot of what they are supposed to be doing for the people left in their care. If you are looking for «professional» home health care, keep looking.

Live in companion was dropped off with a suitcase and the food they would eat for the week via a van and left at the house for days at a time. Many changes of staff due too situations. Many many changes in compainions, they appeared frustrated with their long hours. I see the BBB has not recommended this organization and I would not either. When you call their office it is not a warm and friendly experience. Before you sign the contract they are very pleasant. If you look at the website you will not see pictures of the workers just the aid and probably the people who answer the phone. Hope this advise helps. If I were proud of the people I selected to work for my company I would have each and everyone smiling in a group photo on my website. That way you could see the inner structer of this company.
