Well, this is going to be short, but not so sweet. The two for $ 25 Sucked! The 6 oz steak was so small and the two tablespoons of mashed potatoes were lumpy and Cold. Come on now Applebee’s it’s supposed to be «dinner» people are supposed to leave your restaurant feeling full and satisfied. Well it wasn’t me. Forget about my husband’s spicy creamy Mac and cheese, it was soup. Terrible! Needless to say, we won’t go back.

Curbside Delivery. I won’t ever order this way again. The food was disgusting. The shrimp, flat pancakes at least weren’t greasy. The fries were. The steamed riblets resembled formed dogfood on bones. Can they do that? At least drown them in the BBQ sauce. And what was that BBQ sauce? It wasn’t the Honey BBQ that I ordered. And the ribs were almost dry. The boneless wings were mealy little breaded plops that had no hot sauce on them what-so-ever. And no blue cheese dressing, I got ranch instead. 3 celery sticks. I added 10% to the order for the tip. Don’t do that. Actually it doesn’t matter, you can’t tell unless you try the food.

Absolutely horrible. Placed a take out order of the shrimp and broccoli cavatappi. When I got the food home, I was so upset! There was hardly anything in the take out box, it looked like the cooks hadn’t bothered to cut up the broccoli that was barely even cooked, and the shrimp was cold. I get it, it’s a chain restaurant– it’s not going to be a 5 star meal. But this was seriously disrespectful to their customers. I will never give this place my business again.

For a chain restaurant, I like going to this Applebee’s in town. We went tonight since Applebee’s offered a free meal to Veteran’s on Veteran’s Day so we took my father. I have to admit – I really like them for doing that. They also had a small table setup in the front waiting area that was dedicated to those Veterans who never made it home. For a chain restaurant, I felt that was going above and beyond. I had the Oriental Chicken Salad – huge portions and the dressing on it was really good. It is a chain restaurant, but it’s a good option if you’re looking for something pretty inexpensive.

So typically I try not to write reviews of big chains, unless its something that really would be useful(like, if you can avoid the CVS on this corner and go to the next one 3 blocks away) But I have to say, while there aren’t a ton of options down in this area, STAYAWAY. First off, there was like a 45 minute wait. Next, drinks(non alcoholic, mind you) took forever and came out in 3 rounds. The one person in our party who asked for an Angry Orchard was told they didn’t have any, the coke she asked for in its place never came. Then, surprise surprise, when the bill came we were charged for an Angry Orchard and a Coke!!! After placing food orders(all sandwiches and salads) it took over an hour to come out, and one of our friends was not brought her sandwich until a good 15 minutes after the rest of us, and after we asked several separate servers to inquire about its whereabouts. To the server’s credit, she totally forgot to add the gratuity for a party of 6, and earned herself a nice almost 10% tip. Don’t be a server if you are so disinterested that you stare blankly at customers when they ask you something or point out an issue(like charging for extra drinks)

Seriously rude servers. Even calling for a pick up you’ll get attitude over the phone. This behavior is to the point where I placed an order and don’t even want to go in and see the person that just talked to me that way.

It was kind of awkward coming in here at first. There’s no hostess station(or rather I didn’t see one), and there’s a ramp that you walk down in order to go to the bar. Having said that, this particular location was rather nice. There were nice tables outside, and the landscaping was nice. After inquiring about the drink specials, we discovered that the margaritas were $ 4. My friend decides to try one, and it was(for four dollars) freaking huge. He also said that it was rather tasty. So tasty in fact, that he got another one. Our bartender was polite, and did his job rather well, but didn’t seem like the kind of guy that would sit there and shoot the sh*t with you if there was no one else sitting at the bar. I could be wrong with that though. All in all, we found ourselves sitting there saying that maybe we should be going to our local Applebees more often. I will definitely be visiting this location again too.

I am a frequent flyer at applebee’s, especially this location. The brew pub pretzels with beer cheese are amazing. I get them everytime. The service is always excellent.

Its applebees, what do you expect?(For the bad reviews below). I have been stationed all over the US and every Applebees is the same. The only difference is the high schools they represent. I like this Applebees because it is walking distance from my residence. Today is friday and i wanted a drink. I dont drink and drive so this was perfect! The staff is cool. The beer was cold. The food is the same wherever. You really shouldnt expect it to be a 4 or 5 star spot. One of my favorite phrases is, «you get what you pay for». I respect all opinions but its Applebees. Lol this is the place where you would take dates to in high school and even in college. Which this area caters too… and of course families. I am here at 7pm and there are alot of young college students and families. It serves its purpose people. Oh and the food is decent. Lol

I’m by no means a fan of chain restaurants, especially this place. I ended up meeting someone here for dinner a week ago(wasn’t a good weather night for outdoor dining). You sit down, and the server hastily introduces herself to your table, and assumes you’ll already know what you want to order. Then as soon as you put your last morsel of food in your mouth, they’re ready to drop the check. Well, I went with a chicken Caesar salad. I didn’t want to choose anything else on the menu since I know it’s just frozen food that’s thawed and heated. I could do that at home with a Lean Cuisine. I’d say this place definitely serves it’s purpose for the Teeny Bopper crowd waiting to see a movie at the theater. I know if I was 16, that’s probably what I would have been doing on a Friday night too. Other than that, I’d say Applebee’s is just a step up from a McDonald’s as far as food/service/ambiance. There’s some nice URI memorabilia on the walls, and that’s about it.

I went here with my father and was pleasantly surprised. We quizzed each other about all of the classic television stars that adorn the walls. Unfortunately, the manager said the place is going to be overhauled with a different theme, and all of the paraphernalia is for sale and will be auctioned off. I had the blackened steak with penne and my dad the cowboy burger. We both enjoyed our meals and had a good conversation with one of the cooks whose shift was over. I strongly suggest you try the New Blackened Steak Penne, it’s delicious.

I used to love this place but it’s really gone down hill mainly due to the service although my well done burger was still pink inside. 2 out of the last 3 times I’ve been there the service has been horrible. I can understand if it was busy but neither of the times was the place more than half full. Our waitress only had 4 tables and we hardly ever saw her. At the end of our meal we waited about 5 minutes before our waitress noticed we were done. Another 5 minutes went by and she finally dropped off our check and then truely disappeared. After waiting 10 minutes I left my booth and found the hostess and asked that our waitress be tracked down. The hostess was very helpful.

I think Applebee’s is a great chain restaurant. This particular Applebee’s was a dissapointment. Went in for lunch and were seated in the bar area(not by request, and questionalbe as the restaurant was practically empty). The radio was so loud that you could not have a normal coversation at the table(I understand it has to be this loud with a full bar of people, but it was deserted at lunch time). We repeatedly asked to turn music down, but that didnt happen until we paid our check(about 40 minutes later). One person in our party ordered chicken quesadilla’s and in the second triangle found chicken bones! After we flagged down the waitress and showed her, she just looked blankly at us. I asked to have ½ the cost of quesadillas taken off the bill, which she grudgingly did. No offer of anything else or even a visit from the manager. We had done take out once before from this Applebee’s and found when we got home the serving sizes were not the same as you would get in dining room(8 french fried with a cowboy burger?). We have frequently gone to the Coventry and Warwick Applebee’s and never had any problems.
