How does this place not have a bathroom? I know it is small, but come on, really. I bet they have a bathroom for their employees. But not for their customers. For shame. Some places do not have a visible bathroom that you can see from the floor, but they still let you use it if you are a paying customer. But not this place. Why go here? I like honey dew donuts, but not this location.

We were hot and looking for somewhere nearby with air conditioning where we could hang out a bit longer. Honey Dew was but a block and a bit away, so there we went. We made ourselves comfy at the window counter seats and mulled over what to get. Two decided on the Pina Colada shake — I sampled it and found it sweet and chill and I would have been okay with that. But my other friend was feeling for something tart, so we decided to share a small strawberry lemonade shake. While the staffer was making it, I asked if she could possibly pour it into two cups for us. She was like, sure! And we ended up with two cute kiddie cups of the pale pink frosty liquid. A nice cool treat for a hot day for about 4 bucks.

My friends and I visit this Honey Dew almost daily(for its handy location), and I wish I could give it a better rating. However, there have been at least a half dozen times when one of us has found something«extra» in our coffee or tea. We’ve brought it to the store’s attention several times but it keeps happening. However, on the positive side, they are always friendly and service is speedy, that earns a few stars. But that’s not enough to keep me coming back if I can’t drink the coffee I purchased.

I’m definitely a fan of this Honey Dew. I frequent here a couple times a week, usually in the morning. The service is always really fast, and the ladies who work here are always smiling. Always. I have never seen them frown, or treat anyone with poor service. The line could be to the door, and they’re quick, efficient and friendly. They also leave free samples of donuts, muffins or cookies on a daily basis. It’s good because if you’re ever feeling iffy about trying something, chances are you’ll get to during the week at some point for free. It’s not good if you’re trying to watch your weight/what you eat and are a sucker for treats(like me :)). Definitely recommend this one, Dunks is up the street in Wakefield but skip it and come here. I like their egg and cheese on a croissant & their french vanilla ice coffee.
