Massage On Main

Donna has a great staff. Thank you Kate, will most definitely be back again soon. The massage is a great thing to do just before a chiropractic appointment! The facility there is very nice and the people are friendly and professional. I have a birthday coming up soon and a gift certificate to massage on main would be an excellent idea!

I was in a ‘tight spot’ after going ‘too far’ in a yoga pose and called Donna, the owner of Massage On Main to get a ‘quick fix’. She got me in the next day and helped sort me out in a relaxing, quiet old house right off of busy Main St. in Wakefield. Attention to detail and proficiently executed techniques are some of the things you’ll experience in this ‘therapeutic oasis’!
If you find yourself in a tight spot somewhere in South County you won’t have to look hard to discover a bright, sunny sign almost directly across from the Purple Cow gift shop and on the same side of the road as the awesome Stedman’s Bicycle Shop!

Got a fantastic 90 minute massage from Courtney this weekend! As a former massage therapist I’m pretty picky handing out compliments for massage and can honestly say I was impressed with the massage I got — focus on me throughout the session (sometimes you can feel the therapist’s attention span drifting), perfect amount of pressure and attention to detail, all without talking which allowed me to deeply relax. It felt like she got all the spots I needed worked on, even ones I’d forgotten were tense.
You can tell a lot of care went into decorating the space and setting it up for client comfort. The table was warm, there’s a private changing room and bathroom off the massage room, a sense of being enveloped in warmth and healing energy.
Then, after the massage there are two Thai restaurants close by, one of my favorite things to do after a massage — have a yummy meal! All in all, it was a delightful morning, well worth the half hour drive from Newport. I felt refreshed and recharged, definitely will be coming back!
