Better then the Virginia Diner. Many more flavors to choose from. Friendly service. Well worth the drive for us to get there.

The zestiest, yummiest, peanutiest, with the best selection and best quality peanuts I know of… wow…beyond that, all the different selections which are off the charts with different favors and fee nominal quality. I’m not sure how much more I need to say other than you won’t be disappointed w/your purchase. Did I say the price is right… well, it is. I’m going to keep this short because I’ve bought in 38 yrs from just about, if not all the peanut businesses in Virginia I know of… and IMHO they’re the very best! Their selection is amazing but then I’ve already indicated that. Period. …Explanation mark! …On Rt. 460 in Wakefield Va. They ship!

Best gourmet Virginia peanuts. Stop in and sample every flavor! Much better than the ‘diner’ peanuts across the street. Eat at the diner after you stop here first to get your peanuts.

Pretty good variety on Nuts in different favors. Cute little Store with a Cashier that was helpful. Across the street from Virginia Diner so I thought I’d compare Products such as Gourmet Nuts and Mixes.

Definitely worth a stop ! Wound up here on our way home north from OBX.. So cute inside and free samples of their many amazing peanut products. Coming from PA and only ever eating Planters peanuts. I had never experienced true VA peanuts. Much bigger and more fresh ! We went home with 4 pounds of different flavored peanuts: Cajun spiced, Southern BBQ, jalepeno and lemon crab flavored !(All for about $ 20) yummmmmmm

Driving along 460 from Norfolk to Lynchburg can be a boring trip. Going one day and returning the next is twice the pain compressed into a weekend. So, in effort to minimize the boredom for future travels, we started enjoying some of the stops through the small towns we pass through. Plantation Peanuts is right on the north side of 460 and is an easy stop to stretch the legs and enjoy some of what put Wakefield on the map — peanuts. If you’re reading this, you’re likely in the car trying to figure out a nice place for a bathroom stop — so with respect to your bladder, here it is: This place has a friendly staff and samples of myriad peanut recipes. Chocolate peanut brittle is the best!!! Mardi gras mix is also really good, but all of them were tasty. Prices seem reasonable, so no need to shop around for the best deal on peanuts. There is «THE Shrine of the Infant Jesus of Prague» next door, which really left us wondering what made it «THE» shrine and worthy of the cursive script for that article of grammar. Let us know if you know!

Nice selection, friendly staff, better prices than Virginia Diner for essentially the same product.
