After multiple visits I am impressed with this store. It is very clean and the daytime staff is friendly. Growing up in Wakefield, I have seen kids waiting outside convenience and liquor stores looking for one thing or another, I wasn’t terribly surpised. My problem, again, was with the over night clerk they employ. He is extremely rude. After purchasing several things on my way home from work he refused to sell me cigarettes. He accused me of buying for the kids outside and followed me to my car after I convinced him I was shopping for myself. I wish that was my only complaint. But the worst of which is yet to come. He LITERALLY followed me through the store saying check after every item I picked up. I will never come back to this store while he works here.

I honestly found them very condescending when they shoo you out the door and give you dirty looks while you’re in there. But other than that, you can’t beat the convenience when you’re in that area!

I already wrote a ranting review on CVS in Wakefield. Repeating my words, go here for convenience if you reside in Wakefield. I go here very often to mainly get beverages. I’ve never had a problem with the service, which is what CVS suffers from. The cashiers are quiet yes, but they never create an awkward moment when they just say something stupid. I’m looking at you Stop and Shop cashiers! What I really like is the choices of products. It’s a well sized store, and you can find nearly every type of snack food. From sodas, potato chips, and gum, you’ll find the type you’re looking for. Everyone in the area talks about the teenagers who«hang out» in front of the store. Unless you see any type of object that will inflict harm on another man, don’t bother worrying too much about them.

To echo Ellen’s review, this location has very nice owners and is extremely clean in comparison to your typical 7 – 11. Also, it is in a great spot right by the commuter rail, so you can grab a paper, snack or whatnot before your trip. You do need to heads up for local town kids that think they are Wakefield’s Vinny Chase and hang here with their Entourage. I, like Ellen, had a similar encounter when three teens, probably about 115lbs each with a bag of bricks on, asked me if I could be their«dawg» and get them a blunt wrap. After three attempts to decline and them saying they would pay double(Whoa, $ 2!), they went back to holding up the wall and waiting for the next person.

They have my Twizzler’s strawberry slurpee… this is the only place that has it. I have searched high and low. Unfortunately, they either keep running out of it or I don’t know what. Everyone that works here is super nice, never ask me for an I.D. to buy cigarettes(like I don’t go to N.H. for those) and the place is clean. CLEAN. I’ve never been to one so clean. Fuck man. Only thing that sucks are the dick-hole teenagers who seem to think this place is the bees knees hang out. Get over it. Wakefield IS a town where there’s nothing going on, and they make the case so much clearer. GOHOME. One time I had gotten into my car, lit a cigarette, and a group of prostit-tots in the car next to me asked me to roll my passenger side window down so that they could ask to buy them butts. No class lol…
