I needed a report bound, landscape format and along the short edge of the paper. After slowly explaining how I wanted it done, the copy person returned it to me — bound the wrong way! Luckily, the other associate was able to reprint it and bind it correctly, hence the 1 star for redeeming themselves. They also failed to give me my thumb drive back. So disappointing!

Where do I start? This sounds even more insane as I recall the events over the last 2 days but the bottom line is I placed an order online for Avery printable business cards, paid for them, and the site said they would be ready in an hour. I placed the order in the morning and headed over at about 1 pm. The 45 yr old woman cashier was dissmissive from the onset. She wasn’t interested in listening and tried to send me to printing side.(no honey, did you hear me? I ordered blank cards). I explained that it was an online order of blank cards that I bought ahead for convenience. The manager on Wednesday lingered around listening but never addressed me, and never tried to assist. She told me that I requested the order be shipped there and that it hadn’t arrived– which was absurd because it was in stock and on the shelf. I am now into this for ½ hour. I asked if I could just take one off the shelf to which she replied«we can’t do that» WHAT? Ok I’m out of time — it can wait until tomorrow. I felt like I was in the twilight zone. So —I go over back Thursday at 1:15 and there she is again. I say that I really need them today. I am now better prepared and have my printed receipt and a copy of the order on my phone. She was still unwilling to help and insisted the order hadn’t arrived. Staff is nice in a phony way HELLO at a screaming level upon entering the front door. Upon leaving the young man says«Have a NICE day!» with a sarcastic smile. They finally found the«delivery» in the back room after 40 minutes and just unwrapped it and handed off to me. No apology, nothing. The older woman offered no solution, no options, no courtesy, she was just plain rude, dismissive, unproffessional, and lazy, I guess for $ 10 an hour you can’t expect much… Except you actually should! I frequented this Staples often a few months back for a project I was working on and the girl(who has since left) was beyond helpful and professional. So much so that when I happened upon her in her new job she was so excited to see me again — I actually wanted to hug her. The whole experience was so upsetting I actually did call customer service by phone and spoke with a young girl who was condescending and said«well we strive to provide good customer service, so thank you for calling». So there you have it. The emphasis here is not on customer satisfaction. So, Staples, I work in an office and we constantly need supplies. I’ll be sticking with WB Mason from now on. They deliver within 24 hours to my manicured polished little fingers with no aggravation. I will NEVER step foot in Staples of Wakefield again or order online.

Came here to re-bind one of my textbook. It didn’t turn out like I wanted. They cut too much of the page off, so when they went to bind it, they punched holes into the words. Now I have to guess what the missing letters are.
