Where to start. The people are nicer than nice. The food is abundant and delicious. The Inn itself is old and rustic and quaint and perfect. The town is filled with an assortment of wonderful personalities. Nick and Vincenzo make an elite team!!! I cannot wait to come back!!!

My husband and I were lucky enough to be included in the Wakefield Inn’s annual Veterans Day celebration where they opened their B & B to Veterans for no charge. They served(with the help of local townspeople) 37 people a fabulous dinner. The food is amazing. Breakfast was delicious, also. Mostly the owners and their family are so welcoming you feel like you’re at home! The rooms are very comfortable and have a lot of history. We love going there!

If you are looking for a B&B in the surrounding Wakefield, NH area, consider the Wakefield Inn B&B. The family who owns and operates this B&B are pleasant and accommodating, the huge breakfast is awesome with all fresh ingredients and the rooms are well appointed and comfortable. You won’t be disappointed.

I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write this review. Last year Father’s day 2014 my daughter got married at her soon to be husbands family property nearby. With family coming from Florida, Illinois, and Central America for this wedding I was able to rent out the entire Inn for our whole family, Friday through Monday. I can’t tell you enough about the place. My husband does not like B&B’s –he’s a hotel, tv in the room with the room crazy cold from A/C kinda guy. He really liked the Inn. Colleen was fantastic. The staff made us feel like it was our own home, we were coming and going at all hours to help set up the wedding and not once did they ever complain. Breakfast we had the whole place to ourselves, and the food was delicious. This is the first time I’ve been at a B&B that has offered a variety of choices on their menu. Usually it’s no choice or only 2. Great variety to the menu and scrumptious food. A great way to start our busy days. My Aunt and Uncle are vegetarians and they decided to eat here one evening and thought it was excellent. One night when the Inn was open to the locals for dinner we came in somewhat late and my mother had ordered every dessert on their menu for an evening treat for our family. DELICIOUS!!! Nick the restaurant manager hung out with us to talk and no one seemed bothered that we sort of took over the whole place. My only gripe is I can’t find my pictures to post of the beautiful rooms and food. If I’m ever back in the part of New Hampshire I will be sure to stay here or if I’m just passing through during dinner hours definitely will come in to eat. Lovely location and the owners and staff are excellent!!! Thank you for making our weekend stay even better!

Because we were there at the end of summer but before autumn, we had the amazing fortune of being literally the only people at the Inn(not even an on-location innkeeper), so we had the whole place to ourselves to explore, learn about the incredible history of the Inn, and enjoy the quiet and solitude. Someone came in the morning to make us an outstanding breakfast, albeit at little late in the morning. The only drawback was that our room was at the front of the house, and the road outside the window is actually busier than one might expect, so there was a bit more noise than we hoped for. We also loved the quartet of hens.

This place is what I envision heaven looking like. A warm blazing fire, cold champagne, endless supply of cookies, delicious loose teas, softer than clouds bedsheets and very friendly and hospitable people who relish in your relaxation. My husband fell asleep after 10 minutes of sitting by the fire and when we left he looked like a new man. Not a lot to do near by in the winter months which is EXACTLY what we were looking for. Amazing place– can’t wait to come back!
