Dunkin’ Donuts

This is the new location for the Walden Dunkin Donuts, replacing the old DD just down the road. It sits in front of the Walden Frostee Freeze.
The configuration of the new parking lot and drive-​thru window is quite annoying and seems somewhat unsafe. You’re driving a around a full obstacle course around a small and simple parking lot, when you could simply just drive up to the building. Poor and dangerous design.
This is otherwise a good place operated by decent staff. My orders are usually accurate here, the staff are always friendly, and the wait times are minimal. When you pull up to the drive-​thru, the wait time looks like it’ll be more because of the traffic pattern. However, they get the orders out to you very quickly.
Like with any drive-​thru, you sometimes have customers who will do their week’s worth of grocery shopping for their entire family at the drive-​thru window. I had a younger couple in front of me ordering half of the menu, holding up the line. Once they pulled up to the window, the cashier asked them to take a parking spot and they’d bring the order out to them. This is the only DD that I’ve been to where I saw an employee do that.
