For those who aren’t familiar with the Christmas Tree Shop brand, the store chain is very similar to Bed Bath & Beyond minus the fancy duvets and Egyptian Cotton sheets. In addition to finding all of your favorite personal hygiene items, you can get a great deal on crafting items, seasonal decorations, select home goods and appliances and specialty foods. I have always been a fan of this location. The location is very convenient because it is near Ulta and in the same shopping center as Ross in Waldorf. I generally always find what I need and the staff are very attentive and helpful. This is a great place to find a last minute gift set along with the card and gift bag. The last great deal I found helped my job in a big way — I found Fruit Snacks for $ 2 a box! I brought as many as I could then passed them out to kids for Halloween.

I like this place! Don’t let the name fool you, this place is nice to shop at all year round and they have lots of stuff for every season. Great prices, staff is friendly and nice selection of products. It was super busy the other day for Christmas shopping and lines were crazy long but they had almost every employee working a cash register which is something I can’t say about Walmart or dollar tree.

This is one of 3 locations in the area(Waldorf, Fredrick and Dale City– And That), yeah I know where they are all located because my mom has dragged me to each location(sarcastic eye roll, lol). This location is in one of the newest shopping centers in Waldorf, Festival Way shopping Center. This shopping center also has Charming Charlie’s and Five Below. Waldorf is on the come up, lol… The name sometimes catches people off guard but that’s the beauty of this store. I mean yes you can find holiday keepsakes but it’s so much more… to me it’s like a mash up of Big Lots meeting TJMaxx but way cheaper. You will find some seasonal items but they carry a lot of things for the home, from dishes to patio furniture, as well as non-perishables & cosmetic items. The K-cups are way cheaper than buying them in the grocery store. I discovered Nuetrogena’s natural line in this store and have been hooked every since, especially since the price point is the lowest I’ve seen in the area. So you know how you go in for one thing in Target & Wal-Mart and come out with $ 50-$ 100 worth of stuff that you didn’t know or think that you need, this store will cause you to do the same, lol. The store is always neat and the customer service is great, so go check it out and see if you can’t find at least one thing that you didn’t think that you needed, lol.

And all the Party Decorations!!! Cheap too! Every time I go there I spend At least $ 50-$ 75 I have to stop myself and get the heck out of there!!! Just go there and you will see! It’s a fun store! It makes me happy!!! LOL!!!

I SOOOO want to give this place 5 Stars but I just can’t the products are neat but really made cheep but sometimes cheaply made items are good I guess. I mainly like the Polish Pottery that is sold there for a fraction of what it is sold for at the home business that are hopping around town and for the super neat wine glasses their yard décor is cool but only for one season it may last two seasons if taken care of properly the customer service was sub par but way better than some of the venues I gave shopped at in the surrounding area

Not sure why it never occurred to me to write a review for this place??? But it’s one of my favorite places to wander around in. They have all sorts of stuff you would never think to find in a place called the Christmas Tree Shops. I usually leave with something I feel I must have or can’t live without ;)) I have found the folks who work there are friendly and helpful too.

This little shopping center has gotten quite the face lift since I used to live in the area, and boy am I glad. Before, it was quite boring, drab even. Now… watch out now! Pow! Sorry. You see how fast the little things excite me? Sheesh. Located in the Festival Way shopping center, easily noticeable from thee 301, or 228. Ample parking and what not. Okay to the review of the store. Oh. My. Gosh. Am I the only one who simply thought that this was a store for Christmastime and ornaments? Honestly, I am ashamed to admit that I thought this. I thought I was going to walk in and throw up in my mouth after seeing Mr. and Mrs. Claus and their blame reindeer. You know all the cheesy bric-à-brac and what not. You see that is what I thought I would find. Cheese and crackers! I was soo wrong! I’m so glad my family had me go in. What you will find is a plethora of stuff, from household supplies, seasonal items, kitchen appliances to health and beauty PLUS any and everything in between. Think, Michael’s, meets Target, meets Bed Bath and Beyond plus the good dollar stores. The prices are quite reasonable, on the same scale as the store with the big red dot… but, In my opinion though, this place is way more fun. Where else can you find Sriracha hot sauce next to Coconut oil from the islands? Now what now? Exactly. My only con is that this place isn’t close to me. Well actually I should be happy because if it were closer I would spend a crap ton of money there regularly. Why don’t y’all change the blame name already? Gosh.

WTF?! What is this place? What *isn’t* this place?! I had always seen them around but it wasn’t until this one in Waldorf that I dared stepped inside. Huh?! What I though would be a quick 10 minute self-guided window shopping tour turned into a 2 hour«someone get me a cart» of things I never knew I needed. Goodness gracious. And it’s HUGE. I mean really f’in big. And they sell all kinds of stuff. High-end and low-end and seasonal and food and toiletries(with hard-to-find brands and products). Crazy. Latoya is on point with an attempt to describe what this place is. She should have also added«Party City» and then the list is truly complete Definitely check it out. The name is insanely misleading — who thought that was a good idea?!

The name of this place is totally OFF. My mother kept raving about this place, so I had to try it to see what the fuss is about. They have EVERYTHING here! Picture it: Dollar Tree + Costco + Family Dollar + Walmart + Target + CVS + TJ Maxx + Home Goods + Value City + Hallmark all in one place. Total one-stop shopping! Home décor, furniture, beauty supplies/products, condiments, snacks, beverages, linen. You name it, they’ve got it. I spent 2 hours in this place! All that’s missing is a gas station, a butcher, a baker and a pharmacist.

LOVE this store. It;s waaaay better than a dollar store. Everytime I come in for just 1 item, I leave with a bagful of stuff. Food, cosmetics, cleaners, pictures, linens, toys, dishes, pans, furniture, bedding, curtains, rugs, potting soil, seasonal decorations, book, cards… shew! you name it, they probably have it — and for a great price. This store is always packed full of stuff and they are constantly getting new merchandise. Located right of 301 in the heart of Waldorf. near Babies r Us.

Definitely not what I expected. I was in the area and decided to check it out thinking hmmmm this is a pretty big store to be strictly for christmas and I was curious to why it was open all year long. I didnt see not ONE xmas tree inside lol they had everything you could think of from candles, cleaning supplies, make up, kitchen utensils, etc. for very reasonable prices. I’ll defintitly be going back. Glad I checked it out being nosey pays off sometimes LOL

I lived in New England, so I am familiar with the Christmas Tree Shops. The first store was located on Cape Cod. Heck everyone shopped at the various locations and the stores were consistently mobbed and the parking lots full. The previous poster did a good job explaining the mish mash of merchandise you can find here. Yes, most things are made in China, but you can still make a dollar go a long way here. They have their regular merchandise and then they have their seasonal stuff and whatever buy out they may have gotten. Some staples I always purchased there were gift bags. Beautiful ones for .25 cents — $ 1.00. Also lovely high end napkins and paper plates. When I was there last I picked up some mini shades for chandelier bulbs. These are normally $ 15-$ 20 a piece and I picked them up for $ 1.99. I also found some square art frames that I had been searching everywhere for. Since it was an unusual size the price point on many internet sites was high. I got two for $ 20. Some times they will buy out products from gift shows that vendors don’t want to take back with them. These can often be very high end items, with a very low price tag. The fun part is that you never know what you will find at the Christmas Tree Shop so you better be in the mood to wander and maybe even dig. I guarantee you will leave with stuff that was never on your list.

This is a new store to the area. When you first hear the name, you think Christmas? Isn’t this store a tad late on opening? Answer to that is, Nope. This store is a discount store but, it has qualities of Target, AC Moore, HomeGoods, and CVS. Yeah, all smashed into one. When you first walk in it can remind you of AC Moore. It has craft stuff all in the front of the store. You instantly think OH, another craft shop with a cute name and a gingerbread look but, as you move on it becomes HomeGoods. You begin to see furniture and items for your house. Then you push on and Target kicks in. Sorry no clothing yet but, the food, cleaning supplies start to spring up. The prices are damn good. As you kick along some more CVS kicks it with some HIGHer end beauty goods(pssss Yes some of those $ 180 facial creams are only $ 119 or cheaper). The only downer is the regular beauty and body goods are normal price and they didn’t have the two packs of the deodorant for the price of one kind thing going on. I guess they have to make up the difference somewhere. If your looking for a quick craft, a cabinet, some cookies and your bronzer(gadget for the guys) then this is a pretty good store. Now if they added video games, tires, computers, and clothes they would be ready for a Discount Department Store Battle. Parking is great.
