McGee Fence

My new fence is beautiful and McGee was great to work with from the original sales person to the crew who spent 2 days here and the office staff which organized their schedule around mine. I particularly appreciated the 4 guys who did such a great job installing the fence, cleaning up after themselves in addition to hauling off my old fence. They were so friendly & professional on a couple of the hottest days ever to be working outside. I look forward to having them replace my deck next summer!

I am sure McGee’s work is great but I wouldn’t know because they completely dropped the ball after our initial discussions. First, the guy that came out that did the estimate expressed concern about our sprinkler system and bluntly stated if they punctured it with a post I’d have to pay for it. The other two companies that we got estimates from said there was no problem, that they deal with sprinkler systems all the time and they knew where to put the post. After the evaluation, months went by and I never heard back with my estimate. I called and emailed McGee and got no response then finally got a hold of the guy who did the estimate. He said he was having personal problems but that he had gotten the paperwork to his boss and his boss would send me an estimate. I tried to call McGee back and talk to the owner who emailed me weeks later and said he’d have to come back out if I needed an estimate… I guess he didn’t get the paperwork? The lack of communication and customer service was dismal. I found another company who behaves in a much more professional manner.

McGee did a great job on our deck and fence. The no pressure estimate was great. We were provided numerous options and were able to find one to fit our needs and budget.

I had a few estimates, and these guys came in under the others, in terms of price, so we went with them. They weren’t radically cheaper, but still cheaper, and that was important to us. They managed to move our appointment up by a week (making our wait time only about 10 days from the time we signed the contract and paid the deposit). I thought it would take them a couple days, but they sent out 5 guys and the did it all in one day! Our fence wasn’t gigantic, but it was about 240′ with a few weird things… a hill on one side, a weird retaining wall on another, need for a lattice under the house so they dogs couldn’t get out, and a tree in the way that we couldn’t chop down ourselves so they removed it. They did quality work, the fence looks great, and the even sealed up around our shed (underneath) so our small dog couldn’t escape. That wasn’t part of the fence «deal» so it was thoughtful and very helpful of them to do it. The workers were polite and hard working, and the company was responsive… I appreciated those things a lot!

I recently had a fence installed with McGee. This company provided great service from the sales process all the way through the installation. They have a few different salesman, I recommend Bill. He was very knowledgeable answered all of my questions. My very large fence was installed in 4 days and the workmanship is excellent. Their crew is professional and considerate. Two of my neighbors have signed up to get new fences with McGee after seeing mine. I had four bids completed and am very happy I chose McGee.

Excellent service. They were consistently punctual, hard-​working, and easy to deal with. Built us a beautiful PVC fence on our new home and did a great job working around our settlement date and issues.
