Worst Customer service ever. Bought a brand new house and the AC unit is not working when we turned on the AC for the first time which was originally installed by TMS and they came to check on the AC unit after one week and they had to order a part which they never cared to call and schedule and I had to keep on calling only to be yelled and screamed by the ladies who work there… They scheduled it for a date one week from the day the part was ordered. but then another lady called after couple of days and said I am scheduling the appointment which was again one more day after the original date, so I asked her to check what happened to the original appointment and she said she doesn’t have any idea and refused to check with anyone about that appointment and she started asking if I want to take the appointment or not. How rude was that? I can;t believe how the builders are using these companies again and again when customers like us have to pay a premium price to buy a brand new house. Worst company ever.

First of all I have a brand new house built in 2015!!! Now its May of 2016 and I have no air-​condition and my four level townhouse is 86 degrees all day long. I called to have them come out and take a look, they said they would be there in the morning. Well that never happened, and no call either. I am not sure what kind of business they think they are running there server sucks! The are not professional, poor customer service, and if the builder not put this piece of Sh** in my house I would have never used TMS. For the life of me why would a builder use a firm in Waldorf, MD I have no idea, unless they are very cheap, and now I can see why. The probably bid this contact so low that any builder would take them, considering there work is horrible. Its’ Day 4 no air condition, and they are closed on the weekends go figure!!!

My TMS Gold Plan is tarnished. Yesterday a TMS technician replaced a limiter part in the basement furnace, tested that it was working and departed. New Problem: furnace will now no longer turn off and home reached an uncomfortable 86 degrees. I called about 5PM and was told someone would contact me the next day. I did not hear back by 11:40AM and called their main number. Was put on hold for 7 minutes, hung up and called back. Earliest someone can come by is Friday, because there are too many customers without heat. I used to receive consistent and outstanding service from TMS. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. Still some great technicians, but maybe too many new guys or too many customers?

New home (3 yrs) and equipment already broke. It’s middle of summer, they need 4 days to come out and even though equipment is under warranty, many basic parts are not covered. They charge for coming out, labor and many parts. In other words, the warranty is pointless. I had a credible source tell me my capacitor and motor went out. When I called TMS I asked them to please make sure when the tech comes out he comes prepared with motor and capacitor. They refused to send motor out until their tech diagnosed the problem than they would have to reschedule. I asked them to please go the extra mile and send the motor, if its not needed they can return it or use it on another unit. Its middle of summer and a common piece. They refused. I had someone else come out the very next day, with motor and capacitor and was able to warrant both parts. TMS is horrible to work with.

I would like to strongly advice future customers of TMS (Trumbull Mechanical Services) (28 Industrial Park Dr, Waldorf, MD 20 602) to think twice before they make use of their services. This is the first review I have ever written and I usually ignore internet reviews. Boy did I learn my lesson. Easily the worst company I have ever known in my life. I bought my house from Drees homes which is a big mistake the second year my house is falling apart I wonder why) and this company apparently does all their Heating & Air Conditioning /​HVAC. The house carries 10 year warranty on structure and 5 year HVAC the first time I called them after few months of buying the house, my bathroom vent went bad, well no problem, I called them they sent someone to replace the vent and I caught the technician installing an old vent that was used and rusted, I called and complained to Drees and TMS they blamed the tech being the bad person, the tech came and changed the vent to newer one after two weeks. The second time after 19 months my AC outside burned which is under warranty now they are saying that they have to charge $ 99.00 to take care of it. I told them okay since I have 3 kids and for two days the house was boiling and when they showed-​up the tech told my old father that they will charge an extra $ 55 to replace the part (what is the point of warranty if you are charging back-​and-​forth hidden fees, they are saying your part is under warranty not your labor). I desperately I said ok I will pay you!!! just go ahead and take care of it, by this time the tech already left and customer service said, it going to be another week before they can send me someone. I went and searched the YouTube and watched a couple videos and found out just a simple problem the Capacitor usually goes bad on these AC systems and I turned off the circuit breaker and the power and opened-​up the side of the AC and got couple pictures so I don’t forget how to put it back together and got the model number searched the google and found it in Grainger Sterling VA (
) with the parts and tax it cost me only $ 12 and the kind people from Grainger told me how install it very simple saved $ 142 for something that is under warranty… Two people in my neighborhood complains about them. I do not recommend their service to anyone. Do not trust them or you will regret it. Go with a company that is not a rip-​off!!!

TMS installed the HVAC unit in my new condo/​townhouse. Both units have had major issues and are just over 2 years old. In both cases although ‘parts were covered under warranty’, the labor rates that were charged for service and installation of the defective parts was in the $ 300 – 400 range each and every time. In one instance had to wait almost ten days between call in and actual repair to take place. Will not recommend

We bought a brand new house with the HVAC installed by Trumbell. We have had trouble from the start. They have been out twice and still have not fixed the issue. Now, during the record heatwave they say it will take 5 days to get out and fix a problem with their product installation. The temp in the house is 90 degrees. I am disappointed in their service.
