We are so lucky to have them here. The best ever, and friendly staff.

The directions Unilocal gives are wrong, but the address is right. You can’t turn north into Mill so turn on Broadway and go east a block when you can. The store is not even a block off Rt 34.

We travel to Waldport at least once a year and we finally got the chance to be visit on a day when Pacific Sourdough was open… It was truly incredible. What a gem in Waldport. I wish they were open every day! Do arrive early(before they open) as a line will form quickly but honestly, it’s worth the line. I bought an assortment of items: sourdough loaf, muffins, cookies, and an onion scone. EVERYTHING was excellent but that onion scone?! I will forever dream about it. It was one of the best baked goods I have ever tasted. Truly perfect. After I finished it, I drove back hoping to buy the rest of their supply but they were out. Sad panda. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is a miraculously good bakery tucked around the corner of Mill St. and Hwy 34 in Waldport. A bit hard to find but well worth the effort. As a former chef with a very discriminating eye and palate, I will simply say this kitchen produces a uniformly excellent bake. Don’t be put off by the long lines at the bakery or the booth at the Newport Farmer’s Market. Grab a cup of coffee from the kiosk(or booth) nearby, get in line and get ready to be happy.

I when to high school in waldport, class of 83. We never had anything like this back then. Pacific sourdough is comparable to the big city artisan bakery’s. I’ve been thru camping several time and always seemed to miss their open days. This time we hit it dead on, enjoyed both days of indulgence. The bread product are amazing, we tried the pretzel buns, seeded sourdough and whole wheat sourdough, all were great. It’s. Nice to see a quality business in the old hood, hopefully it will bring more business and tourist to my old waldport. Look forward to our next trip as I finish the last bit of toasted sourdough.

This place is THE find on the Central Coast! The pastries are to-die-for. The variety a-m-a-z-I-n-g! The service is rarely-found — folks who can answer every question about every product they sell. You will have to wait in line — but it is worth every second you spend taking in the aroma of fresh bread baking the wafts through the shop. I’ve tried too many to list here and have yet to have one that I wouldn’t have over and over again.

Incredibly good sourdough bread! They have classic sourdough as well as some other variations like Oregon hazelnut sourdough and kalamata olive sourdough. The selection of pastries looks amazing too but I haven’t tried any of those yet as I would rather just devour as many loaves of their sourdough as I can while I’m here on the Oregon Coast. They are open Thursday and Saturday — go early, be as patient as you can while you wait in the long line and then buy as many loaves as you possibly can carry!

I have no idea how they do so many items so well. Yes, there is frequently a waiting line but it moves along and those of us waiting chat with each other. Best bakery on the coast, and one of the best bakeries I’ve tried anywhere. If you are within 10 miles of Waldport on a Thursday or a Saturday you have to make an effort to visit this place!

My wife said«go check out this bakery» we are camping at beachside for our anniversary, and this place is THE best ever! Oh my gosh! What a treat! Lined up and buying bread, sweets, and treats! The service was incredible and the goods were the best! Waldport you have a gem of a «buy local» business here! We will be back! Thank you for our special treats on our special day!

Found this hidden little gem while vacationing with family at the Coast. We were so impressed by this bakery! Went in there thinking to get a loaf of sourdough and came out with two different kinds of sourdough loaves and a bags of delicious baked goodies! Couldn’t believe the selection of baked goods that were so well priced it made our jaws drop. Can’t wait to go back to Waldport! This place is a must stop from now on!

Yes, it’s that good. Stopped by with the intention of grabbing a quick croissant, ended up with 2 bags of awesome baked goods(and other bonuses like the tasty cold sandwiches that hide in the fridge.)

Everything is DELICIOUS! But I have to say the sourdough hazelnut bread is out of this world. I wish I would of bought more to take back home with us after being on vacation. Friendly service and great prices too.

Little Waldport is so fortunate to have a bakery like this one! Tiny little shop, open on Thursday and Saturday only, but a steady stream of customers both days we stopped in. We were lucky to discover them on Thursday so we could go back today and stock up on more goodies for the weekend and to take home for the freezer! The cookies — molasses, chocolate chunk — outrageously good! The sourdough round — excellent flavor, superb«chew», makes one crave chowder, spaghetti or cheese fondue to smoosh it in! The pastries — all delicious, and for such a small shop, the variety of offerings each day was impressive! Be warned, you will buy more treats than you first intended to, the temptations are too hard to resist! Give in, you will enjoy ALL of them!

Gluttony. Sheer, uncensored, on-vacation gluttony. My family and I went down the pastry line like it was a buffet… we’ll take an almond croissant, a Napoleon, a lemon sandwich cookie, a mocha sandwich cookie, shortbread, a pecan sticky bun, a marionberry muffin, a cherry cheese danish, and of course a loaf of classic sourdough. Then we gorged. In the parking lot. Sweet, heavenly bliss. They are only open on Thursdays and Saturdays at the actual bakery, so plan your next beach vacation around a visit to this incredible sweet spot.

We start each visit to the Oregon Coast with a visit to the Newport Farmer’s market. The reason is the incomparable Pacific Sourdough stand. You can’t miss it — just look for the line out to the street and down the block. Get there early for the best selection. EVERYTHING is incredible: the breads, cakes, muffins, EVERYTHING! We buy enough to get us through the week.(And now have a running family joke about my dad exclaiming«$ 50 on BREAD??») Before social media, I used to write the owner to make sure she was going to be at the Farmer’s Market before each visit. We wanted to know in advance whether we could look forward to these baked goods and didn’t want to risk a disappointing start to our vacation if they weren’t going to be there. That’s how good this place is — it can make or break a vacation! We finally had a chance to visit the store location and loved it just as much.

The best baked goods on the Oregon Coast can be found in little old Walport. Their retail location is only open for a few hours on Thursday afternoons, but you can find them at the Newport Farmers’ Market on Saturdays in the summer(always a line, they’re the most popular booth) and at the Corvallis Winter Market on Saturdays during the cold season. The make so much, and make it well — muffins, cookies, fig bars, almond cakes, zucchini bread, macaroons, fruit turnovers, really just everything. We got a decent baker’s lunch(puff pastry wrapped around potato and Gorgonzola), a bright and sweet lemon sandwich cookie, and a mini rhubarb upside down cake. Oh man, that last one was good. I want another. They also have a nice selection of breads — round, baguette, seeded, sourdough, focaccia, etc. These looked great, sorry we didn’t pick one up. You will want to find Pacific Sourdough.
