Grand Rapids Cheesecake Company

Very disappointed! I met with 2 different people including the owner with details about cheesecake for our wedding. Owner took the order for my cake and sheetcakes and did not write anything down! I was supposed to receive a call about final price and confirmation, a week went by… No call! So I went to the store and found out there was no record or order made for my wedding. Strike 1. Strike 2 was the unorganized staff, no communication! Strike 3 was on my wedding day, I was promised that my cake would be delivered in the morning. 45 minutes before our cake cutting, no cake. Tried to call the company, no answer and I also recieved no calls from them. I am furious! My family was at meijer looking for cheesecake to serve at my wedding because of the no show cake. Finally having to wait for the cake cutting, cakes are delivered to our venue. Not the delivery girl’s fault, she got the wrong address and was lost. I verified this address twice! Beyond angry about this happening! Do not use for any events. Could not be more angry about this happening, so much unnecessary stress and drama added to my special day!

Was heading home from Chicago and my family was craving Cheesecake. I googled places and found this gem in Grand Rapids. Their selection was great and the cheesecake was out of this world. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for great tasting Cheesecake.

When it comes to their cheesecake, cakes, cupcakes, wedding cakes, Raw Honey and products, dessert bars… this is the place to go. Caitlin is an amazing and talented baker. A company with a huge heart! Give them a try!

I looked up the hours for GR Cheesecake on y phone & it said they closed at 6. .I was super bummed because I work until 6 & I needed a cheesecake for that day! I decided to call just to make sure & it turns out the google info is wrong & they are open until 8. WOOHOO!
The lady who answered the phone was super nice, I asked if they had a turtle cheesecake & she told me they had 2 sizes and the prices. The large was $ 28. I stopped in to get it & she had put it in a bag in the freezer to make sure nobody else bought it before I got there! That was so awesome!
I thought the cheesecake rocked! Great flavor, nice & thick like a NY cheesecake! They have lots of different flavors and I cannot wait to try more!

Cait is phenomenally talented and creative. Her birthday cakes are fun and original – a big hit with guests. The Cars themed cake I ordered for my son’s birthday was yummy and moist!

Living in Chicago, I was looking for a «sweet» surprise gift for my parents. Great customer service and my parents loved the turtle cheesecake. Next time I’m in town, I can’t wait to try it!
