came up for a family vacation to Akely, a few weeks ago. needed some fishing lures cause I wanted to catch some fish! well Reed’s was like Dick’s sporting good or a little mini Cabela’s. lots of outdoor stuff. they had the lure’s I wanted and guess what? it got me a 4lb bass the next morning! thanks Reed’s.

If I could, I would give this store 0 stars. I went in willing to drop $ 100 – 200 on a nice pair of shoes, and came out empty handed. I was greeted by a nice young man and that was the extent of the customer service I received. I looked around the women’s shoe section for about 10 minutes and not a single one of the multiple (at least 4) workers who were in that department would give me the time of day. I needed help with finding sizes, but the workers were simply standing around and chatting to each other from across the women’s department. Very disappointed with the customer service and I will NOT go back. Do not go here-​not worth it what-​so-​ever.

Reeds in grown mans version of a kids candy store. The wife and I were up to Crow Wing #8 for a fishing vacation the end of August last year. Did plenty of sight seeing also. Reeds was one of our (my) stops. You will be able to find all of your out of doors sporting needs at this store. Associates are helpful and pleasant. Check out Walker while there. Neat town.

Ordered on-​line two weeks before Christmas. Never received any contact after the initial order confirmation. Wrote multiple e-​mails and left voice messages 3 – 4 times in order to get order and shipping status, never got a response. Finally got a rep. to answer on the phone after Christmas, he said item was sold out before Christmas and he needed to check with manufacturer about the drop ship status. Item had shown in-​stock when I ordered. Item shipped after Christmas and finally arrived. Reed’s has really poor electronic order follow up, very limited customer service availability, and their website doesn’t show in-​stock accurately. I don’t recommend ordering from them.

Everything you could want or need for a Minnesota adventure. Everything is market priced and not uncharged because vacationers are in the area. The workers are always helpful and help outfit anyone wanting to go on a hunting or fishing trip. Skip Cabela’s on your way north and just come here.

The ultimate outdoor needs store in Walker, MN!
We were here for a mini-​vacation when our 4 lovely ladies (yes, there were 4 guys too) decided they were going to become amateur anglers. They marched right in, bought a fishing pole for $ 9.99 and received all kinds of advice from what they needed, to how prepare the pole, to how to catch walleye from the dock (which mainly included ‘get a boat’). Although they were disappointed they were not going to get a 24″ fish, everyone walked out of the store happy that day. The boys got a couple of outdoor/​water games and the girls got a pole, a hook and some worms.
This store has it all. If you need any outdoor fun while in Walker, stop here to peruse. If you are anything like our girls, you will end up back there 2 or 3 more times! Happy summer!
