I only come here for the food! I love Sheetz food. Mainly the made to order items. Perfectly located on my way home from visiting my mom, so I stop here for dinner often. So far, so good.

This sheets is a descent place. It is dirty at times, but I think that has a. Lot to due with the clientele close by. Unfortunately, they constantly have 1 or 2 pumps broken. They sure can microwave a good shmiscuit.

Gas price in 1 day from $ 2.69 to $ 2.75 for morning commuters back to $ 2.69 in the afternoon … they flex the prices up in the morning and later back down … WTF?

Order an MTO because who doesn’t love an MTO Meal? Was messed up unfortunately however the manager on duty when I called back in was nice and offered to work on it right away so it could be picked up upon arrival. Made my wife do it because it was her meal, sorry honey! But she’s a good sport. Anyways they refunded us for the full meal without asking! Thank you sheetz!!! Oh by the way Unilocal apparently extorts people for reviews. So wether or not this is true is entirely up to the reader!

Paid for extra cheese on fries, didn’t get extra cheese. Paid for a double meat sub, didn’t get double meat. Order a heated sub, didn’t get a heated sub. Between the four of us, each of us had something wrong with our order. $ 52.00 later, a very disappointed family. Had it not been so late, I would have gone back and demanded a refund. My money could’ve been spent better elsewhere.

I use to love Sheetz. I grew up with them in the 80′;‘s when I lived in Altoona. But in recent years the quality of the food has dropped like a brick. While expanding their menu they’ve cut corners, specially in the quality of their meats. A few years ago, they had given Subway a run for its money, but about three years ago, they went to ala carte pricing, and soon a food long steak and cheese went from five bucks to nearly nine.(I paid ten for one yesterday once I had the toppings I wanted on it). for the price, one can buy a much better sub at Jerry’s, Firehouse, or even Subway, all of whom, have much better meat and bread. I’ll stick to Sheetz for gas, and maybe cheap hot dogs.(Sadly, the no long have Hebrew National) Bob Sheetz would have plotz literally. as for their MTO’s, I think they were better off back in the days when they had a video game arcade, seating and just basic sub, so I wont even get in to the $ 4 a slice frozen pizza. If you want a sub, buy quality, and just go anywhere else…

I love Sheetz… cheap, convenient, and surprisingly good(and not just for a gas station – I actually prefer Sheetz subs to Subway or Quizno). I like the Cheese Sub the best – I add veggies and whatever condiments I am in the mood for. You can order your food any way you like with the handy MTO touchscreens… I have never had them get an order wrong. I am partial to Walkersville in general, but I have to say, my biased opinion is that this Sheetz is a cut above the others. It’s cleaner and the staff is friendlier. The people at the counter almost always chat with my daughter or say something friendly to her… not the case most places. I also like the Shmiscuits(hard not to like something called a Shmiscuit – I mean, come on!), and the, er, Shmuffins are also good. Ok, so maybe they invented the touchscreens so people didn’t have to suffer the embarrassment of saying the product names aloud. I once ordered a veggie wrap that was ok, but the subs are better… I recommend sticking with the subs for lunch or dinner.
