Like Ajay, I had a living social coupon and made an appointment at the beginning of March, for tomorrow, April 17th. My coupon expired on April 14th, but I assumed they would have called me if it was a problem.(My boyfriend is arriving tomorrow, so I really wanted someone to clean tomorrow so things would be nice.) They confirmed on March 8th, with my Living Social number attached, so I assumed it was no problem. They confirmed again this morning. At 7pm tonight, too late to find someone else to help, they called to cancel. They didn’t return my call. I’ll be staying up much later tonight to get things done that I had expected to have help with tomorrow. How can anyone run a business this way?

I would give these people zero stars if i could. I booked an appointment a month in advance, received a confirmation in my email and then… THEYNEVERSHOWED!!! no one ever came! i tried to call the number 100 times and even left them a bunch of voice mails and they never even got back to me! that was about a week ago and i still haven’t heard back! the number goes straight to voice mail and you can’t get through ever. Really terrible. As others have said, phone number is disconnected, website is down, new phone number always goes to voicemail(which doesn’t state the name of the company). Phone calls go unanswered and messages unreturned. The one call I received from them was two hours before my appointment – which they canceled. Hoping Lifebooker honors my request for a refund. Total waste of time and money – even at the cheap discounted price.

My experience was largely the same as everyone else’s. Made an appointment WEEKS in advance to have an apt cleaned when I moved out. Called several times during the week to confirm the appointment but no one ever answered the phone and no one returned our calls. On the day before the appt, we received an email CONFIRMING the appt for the next day, whew! I thought all was well. But then, at 11am, 2 hrs before the appt, they call to cancel. Livid, I ended up having to rearrange my Sat, spending it cleaning myself. This is not how you build a business. I hope Lifebooker takes note of this too. This doesn’t reflect well on them either.

I bought a Lifebooker Loot certificate for Neat Freak Cleaners. When I tried to redeem it(1) the website is down,(2) the 888 number is disconnected,(3) Lifebooker gave me a new phone number to call, but I left no less than four messages over a week with NO response. Would not trust this company.

Does anyone else find it odd that there were 6 good reviews written in ONE day? What is even more odd, is that the good reviews also happened to be written on the day that the woman who runs Neat Freak Cleaners called me to apologize. Looks like someone is posting fake reviews in order to boost their rating. What ever happened to honesty in this world?

I never have enough time to clean my 1bedroom apartment and my girlfriend never cleans! So using Neat Freak Cleaners was the best option. The cleaning person did arrive a little late but things happen and I did get a courtesy call before the appointment time. The cleaning person was polite and very friendly!(added bonus) I still use their service occasionally and I make sure to request the same person every time and I think my girlfriend better grab a mop and broom asap. Thanks Neat Freak Cleaners…
