Barnes House Of Flowers

This review was written by my wife after she received flowers from Barnes for Admins Day:
I received a very small arrangement with chocolates today from The Barnes House of Flowers. After removing the flowers and chocolates from the box it was packed in, I noticed something on the wrapper and a smell. Upon closer look I found that my chocolates and flowers were packed in GARBAGE… as in discarded McDonalds food wrappers and containers. That was someone’s used bbq sauce on my candy… yuk! I immediately called the florist (who answered the phone «hello»). After telling her the story I was told «the candy is still good because it’s wrapped»! I said I would never eat those chocolates now and she said «we just got them». I said to her I don’t know what is more appalling, your answer or the gross food in my box! I was greeted with dead air then «If you want more chocolates I guess he can bring you some»…I said CLEARLY you don’t get it, so we will just end this call! HOW GROSS

I needed to order flowers for a funeral so I searched on Unilocal as I don’t live in the town where the funeral was taking place. I chose this florist because I liked the photos of their floral arrangements online and they certainly didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t attend the funeral but a family member sent a text from the funeral home when they saw the «beautiful arrangement!» The shop did same day service too.

Very reasonable prices. They are going to do my wedding flowers, and they gave me the best detailed, thorough description of what I’m going to end up with. She worked through everything sensitive to my budget. I was very pleased with the consult. I will review again after I get married, and I get my flowers!

Spent $ 60 total price, asked for no smelly flowers or carnations — the bouquet is all carnations. Told them plain vase, they gave me a purple vase.
They also tried to get my review removed!

Nina was so nice and accommodating ! I explained what I wanted and she worked with me and helped me get it all figured out. The flowers were beautiful and they did a wonderful job. I definitely recommend. ^.^
