Main Bagels

I have been going to main bagel for a few years now and the food is really good, but the people that work there are just as important, I have sent a lot of people there in the past year, but I think that that may change soon, there was 3 girls that worked there, Edyta, Anna and Dominica, these girls made going there fun and enjoyable, its not always about the food alone, so now I find out that Dominica took some time off to go visit her family, and Edyta quit, Anna quit, well from what I see the owner of this place made a very big mistake by letting his emotions and not his business sense take over. I have noticed his business is starting to fall off, and if he can’t see this he shouldn’t be in business I have 10 men under me that I am in charge of some work harder than others and make the company more money the last time that I checked I thought that’s why we are in business is to make money, so do yourself a favor and hire these girls back and give them a raise they deserve it, then you will see your business start to make more money

This is my first bad review on Unilocal.My order was completely messed up twice in a row. I tried to be polite both times when I asked for it to be changed and both times the lady up front gave me an attitude. The sandwiches that were given to me both times were no where close to what I initially ordered so it wasn’t a small mistake like forgetting ketchup or cheese. After the second time I gave up and just ate what ever was given to me because I was hungry. Never stepping foot in this place again

I’ve been going here for years. I live out-​of-​town now, but every time I’m in the area this is one of my first stops. I’ve never had a problem with service and my food has always been delicious. My favorite order is Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a poppy seed bagel. It’s probably a good thing I don’t live closer, because I’d be eating this regularly.

Services is really bad. It takes forever to get your food. Bagels and sandwiches are mediocre. Not much variety. Man, I would kill for a good bagel place around here.

This used to be my favorite bagel place to go but they have definitely fallen off. I called in and place an order for a pumpernickel bagel double egg whites Swiss cheese with peppers and onions. Pretty simple order pretty generic order but I had to end up waiting in a very long line which defeated the purpose of calling in and placing the order for pick up. And my bagel with egg whites only had double onions and no peppers. I had to throw it away because I just had too many onions to even eat. Sadly I have to find another bagel place

The people that work there are rude, lazy, unprofessional, and apparently not too bright. i went there today and there were 4 girls behind the counter, busy talking like bimbos. they were clearly ignoring me. this went on for about 15 minutes till one miserable girl finally asked me if i was being helped when she knew I wasn’t. stay away!

Great bagel shop, one of the best I’ve been to. This place can get very busy in the morning hours, even on the weekend. Bagels are always fresh and the scallion cream cheese is very good.

It angers me how misrepresented this place is on Unilocal.Best bagel shop around in my opinion, never had a problem with the order. The bagels are always fresh and soft and the vegetable cream cheese is a must. There’s a reason why the line is out the door every weekend.

Service is terrible. Everyone fights over the grill to make their egg sandwich order. Apparently the Wallington school district forgot to teach the children what the Ford Assembly Line did for production and efficiency. The line is always out the door because of this. Bagels are good though. I just have to wait 20 mins to get one.

I am 22 years old and have been going to main bagels my whole life. Most of the girls there are very nice. The bread is very tasty and always fresh. I get egg sandwhiches, bacon, and taylor ham often, which is always prepaired correctly for me. For lunch they have great turkey and roast beef sandwhiches. Also their bagels and rolls are always soft and fresh every day. I recommend Main Bagels as it is my favorite morning breakfast place.

I agree with Szczepan, these reviews do not represent this shop. Every time i go the line is to the door. I’ve even seen the line come outside. I have been there multiple times, and I have never had a problem with my order. I have called in the order too, and it’s also right. There is a DDonuts 1 block away, and I’ll go here every single time.
Here’s what I like:
— Even though the line is long, they get you in and out QUICK. Just make sure you know what you want, or you’ll mess up the flow.
— The bagels are FRESH. you see them come off the rack. Any fresher and you’ll be eating them from the baking pan.
— I usually get a bacon or ham egg/​cheese on a bagel, and they really pack that bagel with a lot of ham and cheese.
— Delicious every time
What I don’t like:
This place is popular, so parking sometimes is a hassle.

I feel bad for the Unilocalers that rated this place bad because the staff is hella nice, and not once did they get my order wrong. This place gets busy, because their breakfast food is quality. They make me my hangover cure (Bacon, Egg, Provolone, Taylor Ham, Pepper, Ketchup on a Poppy Seed Bagel + a small coffee) with straight love. Only negative is that their are too damn good, so there is never street parking directly in front because the place is packed. If you make it here park on the side streets (Maple or Anderson) and I highly suggest ordering over the phone before you get there.

The food is good but you just might get unlucky and have them get your order wrong –_​– the staff is not friendly at all. They act like they want to die or you the biggest nuisance in the world. They miss the details even after they ask you (salt, pepper, ketchup) and the lines are like 20 minutes long on the weekend so call your order in. And check it before you go!

Their food as gotten worse. I always went all the way because we very one Said it was amazing. I regret it.

Bagels aren’t very good I go two towns over just to get good bagels and coffee is nasty bitter as bell
