Great wine. Phenominal food. Fun atmosephere. My boyfriend went here for dinner and wine tasting. It was one of the best nights of my life. Very welcoming.

It’s been a while since I have been here but honestly, it took me forever to remember the name of this place so I could write a review. They don’t advertise much and it’s a shame because this winery really is beautiful and the restaurant is superb. I called ahead to make reservations for their Sunday dinner and informed them I was coming with a group that included 1 vegetarian — me! Food was served family style and they created a completely separate vegetarian option for me to accompany each of the 7 courses. All of the food was excellent. They did bring me a fish course as my main vegetarian meal but honestly I was so stuffed well before then that it wasn’t even an issue. Others did enjoy the fish and meat options as well. The wine tasting beforehand is great and bottles are very reasonably priced(many only $ 10), and they cut a discount on all bottles purchased during dinner. Dinner was approximately $ 45 a person and I felt that I got more than my money’s worth. Overall an excellent place for a girls day out or romantic dinner. Highly recommended.

a mix of people though many older persons but that did not stop them from dancing continuously to the music, it did get a little more modern later on… singer and accordian player. were exceptional… nice sunday afternoon experience… go with a group… best in the spring or fall when things are in bloom …the biggest plus is the food is FABULOUS… family style and delicious… wine tasting 6 types of wine with homemade sausage, salami. bread, cheese and fantastic chicken meatballs. then to the dining area… the meal was non stop and very very good flavorful. and abundant… with the wine tasting… the meal… and 4 bottles of wine for a table of 8 we paid about 65 dollars per person and that included the tip .unbelievably inexpensive for the type, quality and amount of food… a real Italian family warm experience… you will leave very satisfied…

Interesting, to say the least! This is real old-school Italian culture and food. If you ever wanted to go to a large Italian wedding, this feels like just that! Our table was late 20’s/early 30’s and the vast majority of the 200+ people there were over 60. Went for the Sunday dinner for a friend’s birthday, and even though I had looked into it didn’t really know what to expect. Basically a long afternoon of family style 6 course dinner, live traditional Italian music, and lots of spirited dancing. The food was really excellent — pasta sauce to die for and succulent cornish hens and risotto, but it is sooo much and I got full quickly. They don’t let you take anything to go so make sure you’re really hungry. That’s one thing I really didn’t like — I hate to think of food going to waste and I also hate to over-stuff myself, but felt like I had to for the $ 45+ I was spending. It’s not like it’s buffet — they bring out a portion for the number of people at the table — so it would be nice to be able to take leftovers. All in all it was a fun experience — make sure you dance! — but probably one I only need to experience once. WIth one bottle of wine for two people it came out to around $ 70/person, which to me is a little pricey. But if you want to experience some real Italian culture and good local wine, and a long leisurely afternoon(or night) of dancing and good food, by all means indulge!

Had Thanksgiving at the winery and I could say it was one of the most memorable holidays that I’ve had. Between the the wine tasting, the food, the music and overall atmosphere it was a day I won’t forget. We are by no means wine snobs but have been to wine tastings in Sonoma, ca and I can honestly say before yesterday if I never went to another wine tasting again I would be fine. I enjoyed the tasting, the staff was very helpful, had delicious finger foods paired with the wines and the wine was reasonably priced unlike in ca. We enjoyed it so much that we enjoyed a few bottles with the family during dinner. The music and venue are very rustic Italian and set with views of the grape vines outside. I can’t say enough about the food especially the homemade pasta with the sauce, for those of you from jersey and brooklyn Gravy. The sauce stuck to the pasta perfectly and I honestly could of filled up on that for the remainder of the night. I am not a huge turkey fan and especially the white meat but the taste on this turkey has my mouth watering even today. The sweet potatos were delicious and had me going for seconds and thirds. The reason why I didn’t give the elusive 5 stars is because of the coffee and the desert. I feel like they could had a few more options for desert and the coffee was lacking in taste. With that being said this place comes as close and you can get to 5 stars that you can get.

We were invited to Magnanini’s and were told it was an Italian Restaurant. Upon arriving we were told that it was a 6 course meal with absolutely«NOSUBSTITUTES». I am a very, very picky eater and found«Nothing that I could eat». Not saying the food was bad, just that I didn’t like any of it. My waiter apologized and said there was nothing he could do. Being with 16 other people I Sucked It up and stayed for the 3+ hours while everyone(But Me) ate. When the evening ended I received my check and was amazed to see that I was charged for the«ENTIREMEAL» plus an automatic 20% tip! I asked to talk to the manager before paying the bill and was told he was not available and once again there was nothing they could do. After sleeping on this that night I decided to go to Magnanini’s and discuss what I thought to be a very unfair situation. I explained to a gentlemen working at the bar that I wasn’t trying to get something for nothing and that I didn’t eat anything and the waiter verified this to him. I just felt that I should get a refund. NO, was the answer. We don’t give refunds! And then I was told that in 30 years Magnanini’s had«NEVER» GIVEN A REFUNDOREVENHADONESINGLEPERSONASKFORONE!(Very hard to believe.) I was the first and the person I talked to said he was insulted hat I didn’t like their food! I once again said it wasn’t their food, it was me. I got the owners phone number and went home and called the number and to my surprise the number I was given was right back to Magnanini’s where I spoke to the owner who was there the entire I was there but refused to come out of the kitchen and talk about his customers problem. He stated to me this: What if 50 people came up and asked for a refund! Said this after just telling me he hadn’t had«ONEPERSON» ask for a refund in 30 years! After excuse after excuse he finally, «HUNGUPTHEPHONEONME». The most UN-PROFESSIONALPERSON I have ever dealt with in my life. This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. How this place stays in business is beyond me. I don’t care how long they have been in business, I will advise anyone thinking of going there to beware. I have since talked to several people about their view of this establishment and found that there are many other people who have also had a bad experience there and have stated that it is way over priced to begin with.

I attended a wedding here and was beyond impressed. It was an outdoor wedding and the scenery is gorgeous, a really nice space for the ceremony. After the ceremony they hosted a wine tasting, which let us taste all of their wines(nice so we could decide what we wanted to drink with dinner. I recommend the Rosso! Delicious.) The staff was knowledgeable about the wines and didn’t mind answering all my(I’m sure annoying) questions about how they make their wines. The reception and dinner were amazing. I was most impressed by the consistency of the food — cooking for almost 200 people and EVERYTHING was delicious. The homemade pasta was the highlight for me. The staff was attentive but not overbearing and made a point to let us know what every dish they were serving was. Everyone was raving about the food — the couple definitely made a wonderful choice for venue for their big day. No complaints at all. I definitely want to come back and visit their restaurant for dinner. Great wine, great food, great atmosphere!

I don’t write very many Unilocal reviews, but I noticed this had none, and I think it deserves to. We attended a wedding here, and it was really lovely. The outside area is pretty expansive and it was an outdoor wedding in the summer, so it was nice. The only real impediment in the outdoor area is the grass/rocky pathway, neither of which is so good for women in heels. The food itself was very good at the restaurant, but perhaps the most standout characteristic was the wine itself. We particularly loved this one wine we tried, which was a red wine aged in an oak barrel. Both my husband and I loved it. We were given a bottle of wine as a keepsake(though the one we loved wasn’t an option, the other red was great) and the wines aren’t available anywhere else, commercially! All the workers were very nice and friendly, the porch balcony was quite beautiful, and all in all, it was a lovely place to attend a wedding!

The locally grown wine is great. I recommend the Mirtillo. The food is great. My family has been coming here for 20 years. Having been here with my parents and grandparents, I’m excited to share our Italian heritage with my children!
