Dr. Tu has been an acupuncturist for over 50 years. She has a youthful energy and a strong spirit and the wisdom of her years that is evident in her thorough consultations. I was quite impressed with her. I have had a variety of acupuncturists work on me, and each has their own personal touch. I found Dr. Tu to have a more aggressive style of acupuncture — which I needed at the time — and which I would recommend for those seeking immediate resolution. She got my chi moving and boosted my energy level straight away. I only needed a few sessions with her, and I began to feel much better. Her office is relatively small, but she always has patients in the waiting room and in the treatment rooms, which attests to her great methods. The treatment rooms are standard medical office rooms, rather than community treatment rooms, so please note this distinction when selecting your acupuncturist if you prefer a private room. On a side note, it’s always a pleasure to have a cultural exchange in the most unexpected of places. So for those of you who speak Russian, as I do, Dr. Tu knows a smattering of words and will delight you with key phrases as she prepares you for your treatment.

I was skeptical about acupuncture in general but after being diagnosed with CRPS(RDS) I was referred to Dr. Tu. The first visit entailed the most thorough medical history exam I’ve ever been given. She immediately diagnosed a seriously high BP, and suggested that I see my regular physician asap. Both my orthopedic surgeon and neurologist fialed to detect the elevated BP. She then began treatment to alleviate the swelling and pain caused by CRPS. In 3 visits I had approximately 50% relief. We continued treatment, increasing the time between appointments and she alleviated 100% of the swelling and pain. I would highly recommend her as she is a master and has been doing it for nearly 50yrs.
