I have eaten here a few times on business trips when i didn’t want to venture out. Unfortunately the chef responsible for the menu has too much of an affinity to fruit with the entrees. Most of the items that sounded good just don’t execute well with fruit(or at least the way they offer it). I ignored my instincts and ordered the scallops because I was in the mood for seafood. Unfortunately they were ruined by being topped with cherries and a too sweet sauce. On a prior trip I had pork chops but they were overly sweet with brie and apples(I enjoy apples and pork but the addition of the brie made it too much). The burger was good though and I enjoyed the veggie pasta with chicken… Common theme: no fruit The service has always been friendly and helpful.

I came in on a Sunday evening. The dining area felt a little awkward. There were only a few patrons and no waite staff present in the bar or the dining area. I sat for a minute and still no one came out. I asked another guest if I should wait or just find a seat. He told me he was told just«sit anywhere» so I did the same. Again, no one came out to provide me a menu or welcome me. I finally saw someone at the cashier stand so I went and asked him what I should do to get service. He instructed me to find a seat anywhere I’d like and he would bring me a menu. Finally, a server came with water and a menu. I was eventually greeted by a kind waiter who accommodated my request for a beer sample, which I did enjoy. Once he returned, I ordered the beer and an entrée size order of Fish Tacos(3 instead of the appetizer size of 2). The beer was a generous serving in a nice chilled glass. The fish tacos were served not too long after. The insides were really great, full of flavor, and spicy. The only downfall were the tortillas. They were dry and fell apart after two bites. Overall, the place is okay. I realize, it’s a hotel restaurant and it was a slow evening. It just felt a little awkward from the beginning. Hey… at least the beer was good!

Great food from the inside of the Marriott in walnut creek. Ceaser salad had a great taste and crunch. The rib eye steak had good accompanying potatoes and vegetables to enhance the flavor of the meal. Even the bread had an awesome dipping spread. Good service and nice pacing of the food. Definitely coming back

Brought over 30 people for a meetup event and I reserved the place prior to the date. I changed my reservation from 15 — 20. Everything went well. Janet, the waitress was fantastic and was not fazed by the crowd. Separate checks. Jazz music was great. We were seated in one long row of couches. Bathrooms were clean and close to the Atrio. Chairs were added as more members came in. No problems with the wait staff. The only hitch was the restaurant coordinator for Atrio reservations who confused me by confronting me that had she known that I increased my number to 25, she would not allow it(???). I informed her that I talked to someone when I increased the numbers. I offered to pull out the group and I informed her that if she does not welcome big groups like mine, I will not be booking the Atrio anymore for our Jazz listening sessions. She sort of waffled and vacillated and mumbled incoherently about patronage, etc. I did not understand that all but we had a great time as she was not direct with her communications. will be very hesitant again in bringing my meetup groups to Atrio because of this unfriendly incident with the Atrio Restaurant Coordinator. It would have been a nice place for our group for sure for future listening sessions but I was uncomfortable because of the confrontation.

Fantastic establishment. The food is delicious and on some Saturdays there is live music. Very roomy and the seasonal menu is good too. Good for east bay area visitors and locals.

This restaurant is located in Marriot Walnut Creek. Its open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Well done interiors with wooden furnishing gives it a rich feeling. The entire place is carpeted so quite warm and cozy too. I was there for a business meeting and the entire group went for lunch. We were around 7 of us so had called them and made a booking in advanced. When we reached the server greeted us and took us to the place arranged. We were seated and he handed over the menu. We were about to decide on the starters the waiter came with a basket of hot breads with hummus and olives. We were all so hungry that each one grabbed a bread. Amazing is the word, the bread was very soft and went well with hummus. So we decided to drop starters and order the main course. The options were not broad but decent. We ordered some fillet sliders, chicken Panini, seafood ballerina and grilled vegetable plate. They were all good nothing to complain. A good satisfy lunch is what I can say. The surprise element they added 20% voluntary gratuity for group of 6 or more. I would have given them 5 star out of 5 for everything good service, food, ambiance but munis one star for the gratuity part.

This place really disappointed me. I spent nearly $ 75 on lunch for 2 and was not worth even half. Right at the start of the service is when I started getting bad vibes. The waitress was being nice but rushed. We had ordered are food before several other parties had even sat down but their food some how came out before ours. I ordered a chicken meal of some sort and it tasted pretty dry and bland. Would not come here again, because of the service and food quality.

Excellent dinner. Exceptional crab-shrimp cakes, large chunks of crab & crisp edges. Tender filet mignon. Good seafood & pasta. Good service tho busboy could have added to ambience with at least one smile!

Conventional wisdom says that good restaurants in hotels are often overlooked by locals. True in this case. Filet sliders, Caesar salad were very good. The grilled artichoke appetizer was great. Bread with hummus and olives was an unexpected treat. They weren’t busy, but service was friendly and spot on. We’ll be back.

Seem to remember reading somewhere about the old Main Street Grill is renovated and changed. Haven’t really check it out until today. The new setting is indeed much better and more comfortable. We were greeted and led to a window side table. The waitress is super friendly. The bread is served with hummus and olives. The portion is equivalent to an appetizer. We ordered Lamb Chops and Seafood Ballerine. The lamb chops are cooked just right. The side dishes are special and well prepared. The Seafood Ballerine tasted very fresh. A tiny little bit spicy on the sauce. Wonderfully done. Over the entire course, the waitress is very attentive and passionate to serve customers. Friendly, polite but never a bit aggressive. We really had a wonderful time. By the way, the Marriott hotel charge steep price for valet parking. Not sure if the restaurant will validate it. We just park on the nearby street lot on Riviera Street which is free evening M-S and all day Sunday
