Visiting Dr Tsaur is always a great experience. I have sensitive teeth and cleanings have always been painful with other dentists as they rush through it. Dr Tsaur takes his time and ensures that the patient is ok. I also had a mouthguard made by Dr Tsaur. Other dentists have screwed this up before where I ended up with jaw pain & requires repeat visits to adjust it, but he got it right the first time.

I am a dental coward, a HUGEDENTALCOWARD. I had very bad childhood experiences. I ended up in Dr. Tsaur’s office 17 years after my last dental visit because my 30 year old crown popped off. I was referred to him from another dentist that I did not really like. I called in tears on a Friday and it was the week between Christmas and New Year’s eve, they saw me almost immediately. I showed up crying and they were so kind and Dr. Tsaur is probably the calmest and kindest dentist ever. He talks in a quiet voice, he listens and most of all, he doesn’t try to convince you that you won’t be scared, he acknowledges dental phobia and says that we will take it one step at a time. I left his office with my crown reseated and an appointment to come back for a cleaning. I went to my next appointment for my cleaning and I cried again, but a little less. And they are so gentle and take their time, you are not rushed, you are allowed to stop and breathe if you get nervous and they just wait, patiently as if being terrified is completely normal. After that appointment I took my three children to get their teeth cleaned, my son, and youngest, needed 3 fillings and he was only 4 at the time, Dr. Tsaur did all three without meds or shots and my son, to this day, says it didn’t hurt, he was mostly scared, but now he jumps into the dental chair and opens his mouth and gets his teeth cleaned willingly, if only I could get him to actually brush them every day. My daughters both love him as well, and going to the dentist is fun not scary, a complete 180 from what I grew up with. My crown popped off(due to my own love of chewy candy, sigh) three more times, I finally got it replaced yesterday. This new permanent crown is awesome, it feels like it has always been in my mouth, it was virtually painless to get the work done(the numbing shots were the worst part, but again, he is very skilled at this and the pain is not worse than stubbing your toe, it’s totally manageable and he is slow and patient, the hardest part is keeping your mouth open and still). I have also had gum repair and a filling done, me, the girl who is terrified of dental work. If you have any level of dental phobia, please give Dr. Tsaur and his awesome team a try. Call Sylvia the receptionist, she will answer the phone with a smile and make you feel calmer almost immediately. You don’t have to be afraid anymore, you can have a healthy mouth, you can be treated with kindness, patience, and understanding. Plus he plays awesome music from this cool Hawaiian music to Frank Sinatra. Dr. Tsaur, his assistant Becky, his hygienist Peggy and his receptionist Sylvia will take good care of you and your family. You won’t be sorry and you will wonder how you were ever afraid of the dentist. Thank you Dr. Tsaur and staff, you’re the best and I am so glad to have found you.

I am glad I came to Dr Tsaur’s for my teeth. I’m a big chicken when it comes to dentist, but he was very nice and put me at ease. Overall I am pleased with the cleanings and work done so far.
