Dentist visits are difficult for me because of my relatively illogical phobia. I met Eric Chen at a local gym and I decided to schedule a consultation with him after seeing him a few more times and being really drawn to his friendly demeanor. I called his office to schedule the appointment and his mom answered. She has to be the nicest and most helpful receptionist anyone could hope for when one is phobic. I was definitely on edge today when I finally went in for the consult but Eric consistently worked to put me at ease. He explained everything I needed and described an action plan(for a simple cleaning which to me is terrifying lol) that seemed palatable(no pun intended). We did a partial cleaning today and I’m ok with that! I haven’t had a cleaning while awake in years… I’ve been so fearful that I have the dentist knock me out just for a cleaning. I more than recommend Eric Chen!

I am one of those folks who avoid seeing the dentist but after visiting Dr. Clark, he changed my perspective. Numerous dentists have ripped me off in the past; I was constantly told I had cavities when I did not. Dr. Clark genuinely cares about his patients and focuses on the quality of his work. When he was cleaning my teeth, he noticed one of my fillings was done improperly. I told him about my previous experience at another dentist, where I supposedly had six cavities. He was very upset and concerned about how dentists could treat their patients like that. He helped me fix my filling on the spot and told me he would take good care of my teeth. I really appreciate that he truly wants to help his patients have healthy teeth. I highly recommend him to anyone and am definitely coming back here for all my yearly check-ups. I wholeheartedly trust him as my dentist. Thank you so much Dr. Clark!

Came to Clark today for a cleaning. My first impression of him was delightful. He is a very positive person and personable. He took the time to thoroughly clean my teeth especially my coffee stains! He is a genuine person and it shows! I would recommend him!

Dr. Chen has been the family dentist for over 20 years. I have to be biased because of that. He’s always done good dental work and have been fortunate enough to schedule last minute appointments when there are problems.

As you lie back your muscles tighten. You put him off for a while searching for an excuse, but he refuses to be swayed as he approaches you. He asks if you’re afraid and you shake your head bravely. He has had more experience, but it’s the first time his finger has found the right place. He probes deeply and you shiver; your body tenses; but he’s gentle like he promised he’d be. He looks deeply within your eyes and tells you to trust him-he’s done this many times before. His cool smile relaxes you and you open wider to give him more room for an ease entrance. You begin to plead and beg him to hurry, but he slowly takes his time, wanting to cause you as little pain as possible. As he presses closer, going deeper, you feel the tissue give way; pain surges throughout your body and you feel the slight trickle of blood as he continues. He looks at you concerned and asks you if it’s too painful. Your eyes are filled with tears but you shake your head and nod for him to go on. He begins going in and out with skill but you are now too numb to feel him within you. After a few moments, you feel something bursting within you and he pulls it out of you, you lay panting, glad to have it over. He looks at you and smiling warmly, tells you, with a chuckle; that you have been his most stubborn yet most rewarding experience. You smile and thank your dentist. After all, it was your first time to have a tooth pulled. Naughty, Naughty! What were you thinking’?
