Been coming here the last few times and to be honest, I’m pretty much done. A couple weeks ago we went with our family to get some dessert and called to make sure they were still open. Upon arriving in less than 10 minutes they closed! One hour before their schedule closing time! Its ridiculous! So i thought nothing of it. Maybe it could have been my fault or a emergency. Something… So this past week me and my cousins were coming from Martinez to their Walnut creek location, and i decided to call in the order. I called and said we will be their in 10 minutes, please have our order ready its 4 orders of Nutella and banana crepes. The waitress said ok and you can pay when you get here. we arrived 15 minutes later, i asked for our order and the chef only made one… She stated she didn’t hear me say four. Regardless i said yes we wanted four. The waitress not only gave us attitude but even rolled her eyes because the order wasn’t correct! Its not our fault she cant take a decent order. She then instructed the chef to make more. He did. Only two were made and she wanted us to wait outside. mind you its damn near freezing out. After this I’m just done with this place… Theirs always a rude waitress and a problem with this place. Definitely not coming anymore. Two stars only for the crepes because the were good

Absolutely amazing crêpe place with great price! We ordered«Sautéed chicken with tomatoes, garlic, bell peppers, onion with additional extra spinach». Huge crêpe with savory tomato sauce and chicken meat(not deli slices!) it’s definitely the best in store! We also ordered«Cheese and smoked turkey» and«Cheese and Turkey with additional mushroom, eggs, caramelized onion». Sweet crepes: «Strawberry, kiwi and honey with additional whipped cream». Best crêpe restaurant in town!

Crêpe Sundays are going to become a thing for us, I can feel it(COMINGINTHEAIRTONIGHT, OHHLORD…) There aren’t that many creperies(that I’m aware of) in this neck of the«Eats Bay», so Crepes Ooh La La is there to satisfy both your sweet AND savory tooth. The dining room is über-casual, so if you feel like rolling out of bed and just slipping on a pair of sneakers, I highly doubt anyone here would bat an eyelash. The selection of both crêpe varieties is good. I highly recommended the King Lias. Also: Before you waltz into this resto thinking it’s freebie Sunday, note that the meters are in full swing everyday starting at 10:00am. Sorry Walnut Creek, didn’t realize we were in San Francisco now.

Great crepes at a great price with friendly service. This place doesn’t look to great on the outside, but the food service and coffee are amazing.

Came here with a few of my girl friends for some lunch/dinner. It was really good! I had gotten a crêpe with avocado, spinach, jalapenos, cheese & sour cream. Filled me up & made me happy. Will be back again

This is the only crêpe place around and the crepes are decent. They offer a variety of combinations including sweet and savory for a reasonable price. However the service is awful and our waitress seemed less than happy to be working. They failed to bring us any drinks(not even water). Also they don’t offer any gluten free option which is unusual as most savory crepes are made with buckwheat flour(gluten free) instead of normal wheat flour. The restaurant it’s self is always over heated, stuffy, and reeks of cleaning chemicals.

NOTKIDFRIENDLY. DIRTY, COCKROACHES. DONOTGOHERE. I hardly ever leave one star reviews, but i’m compelled to due to the very mean customer service. We had to change the number of people dining with us by 3 and she yells«well, you’re going to have to wait longer!» and proceeded with an eye roll. We finally are seated, walk in with my son in his stroller, trying to get situated, yes the area is tight, but the eye rolling waitress tells us to move our stroller standing waiting, while while i’m struggling to get my two year old situated. We had to signal her to take our order and while deciding, she stands with her hand on her hip, eyes rolling again. My mom was taking a bit more time so she rolls her eyes some more. While observing, she was doing the same to others and had a disgust on her face every time someone with a stroller walked in. To top it off, two cockroaches were climbing my sons chair. You’re welcome for not making a big deal of it.

I’ve been here a few times, but our last visit here made us decide to start looking for other crêpe places to venture out to… The food is usually good. However, service is slow and most times just plain unorganized. I’ve had the house special #4, which comes with smoked salmon, spinach, avocado, sour cream, cheese and jalapeños. Loved every bite of it! I’ve also had the house special #3, which comes with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, cheese and spinach. Didn’t like this one so much. I felt as if I was eating a plate of just sour artichoke hearts and there was no cheese to be found. I did request for smoked salmon; however, they ran out that day. My son has had their house special breakfast crêpe, which comes with eggs, turkey and cheese and he enjoyed it every time. He also had an order of the peanut butter, Nutella and bananas sweet crêpe for dessert which he couldn’t finish after his house special. He said it was good, but I didn’t try it since I was so full. On one occasion, we came around 11:30AM and left because they told us that the crêpe chef had to leave for an hour during the middle of the restaurant’s busy brunch. What kind of owner allows his chef to leave a restaurant in the middle of his shift & not have a back up? I thought that was pretty weird! Food gets 4 stars(usually), but service gets 2 stars and the chef leaving that one day just took it way down for me…

Like Tony the Tiger once said, this place is «Grrrrrrrrrreat!» The crepes range from pretty cheap to almost $ 10, which is fine. All my crepes are always fresh((ok sign emoji)). This place is as cool as the other side of the pillow. Except during the summer.

I ordered a nutella and strawberry crêpe with whipped cream. It was tasty, but these crepes were quite ‘hard’ and I prefer softer crepes. The place looks quite old fashioned and the place is just meh. –Kristen I ordered a tomato, egg, cheese and avocado crêpe. It was pretty big and it had lots of avocado and eggs in it which is good. The tomatoes were cut into little pieces and they didn’t really taste that fresh. Other than that it was enjoyable and filling. –Edmund 3 stars from Kristen. 3 stars from Edmund. 3 stars average!

A super solid find in downtown Walnut Creek, my family and I were impressed with the crepes we ordered. My house special #4 was crispy on the outside and maxed out with tons of smoked salmon, spinach, avocado and sour cream. Hella win! The King Lias was the sweet equivalent with its nutella, almond, coconut and everything else I can’t remember that was crammed in there. Staff were great and while the interior layout was pretty basic, the crêpe quality and value make this place a great go-to spot for a quick, simple and(potentially) healthy meal.

I love the owner and his wife. They are Parisians and nice people. I had a cheese, turkey and cranberry crêpe then a strawberry and lemon. They were as good as I had in Paris last year.

I’ve been coming here for the past four years, and I have never been disappointed. The crepes are completely unique to Crepes Ooh La La(therefore nothing like what you would get in France), but I love that about the place — it is what continues to bring me back, because I often find myself craving Ooh La La’s crepes. The staff is so kind, and they remain unchanged(at least in the past four years), and I love the place’s layout. Every flaw provides Ooh La La with more character — at least in my opinion — and because of that, it sets the place apart from other food places in the area. I can understand why someone might think that the place seems messy, but to me it’s just bursting with uniqueness. For example, the bathrooms are in no way luxurious, but they have so much character(please check it out next time) and that’s what makes me love the place even more. Back to the food: their chai lattés are great, as are their Italian sodas(many syrup flavors to choose from), and their crepes… WOW. I typically order the smoked salmon(sometimes smoked turkey) crêpe with Swiss cheese and caramelized onions(so incredible) and I have never been disappointed. The savory crêpe is VERY filling — which always prompts me to share a sweet crêpe afterwards with a friend. I’d say my favorite sucré is the butter and sugar, with strawberries added — please try it, you won’t regret it! It is perfectly sweet. Also, if you would like to share it with one other person, let your waiter know! They will be sure to have the crêpe in half the standard portion on separate plates for each of you. Makes everything a lot less messy. I’ve tried manyyyy of the crepes here, the two above are only two that I wanted to make a point of mentioning here. Do not hesitate to explore other options on their menu! I have never had anything to complain about, and hopefully you will find yourselves feeling the same way.

The crepes are exceptional. For savory, I recommend the chicken, tomato, garlic, green pepper WITHCHEESE and the salmon, basil, tomato also with cheese. I’m not a fan of cream cheese on anything except bagels but my friend got it with her salmon crêpe and it complemented the salmon very well! If most Mexican places could make this chicken, they’d probably get more business. Service was good. I appreciate our server recommending cheese on our savory crepes. She even suggested her favorite kinds. There were problems with our sweet crepes. We ordered two chocolate, banana, and strawberry crepes which both came out as only chocolate strawberry. Before the sweet crepes were even made, I asked the server to change one of them to Nutella. We overheard her argue with the chef once they were made. He «didn’t see» the Nutella. Overall, a MUSTTRY!

This is one of those reveiws again that is long overdue. I’ve been here at least a couple times, last time I was here with a friend it was a really hot day, I say that, unless it has changed, this restaurant DOESNOTHAVE A/C, so, we were sweating during our meal. My friend and I ordered two different kinds of crepes, our server, she was super, she divided the crepes evenly, both different kinds, on two seperate plates. That rocked!!! I really enjoy the food here, again, just be aware if you come here on a day when it’s really hot, you will probably sweat. I won’t comment on the restrooms since I haven’t used them.

They serve quality crepes and the price is not too bad. The people here are real friendly and offer fast service. Plenty of seating and the place feels big because of all the mirrors on the walls. I usually order the crêpe with just sugar and butter.
