I came here for an airbrush tan and Sarah was the best. She uses a spray solution that does not have the extra chemicals and strange smell, which is definitely a huge plus. She gave me tons of information about how to make the tan last longer and their prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be going back regularly!

Sarah is amazing at spray tans! She is very professional, accomadating, and makes you feel extremely comfortable. Her products are all natural and very gentile on even the most sensitive skin. My tan always looks even and natural. I will continue to recommend Sarah to my friends and family!

Ericka is AMAZING! Im super picky when it comes to my brows (who isn’t) and I can defiantly say that no one except Erika will touch them! I have never been more happy with my brows. I even get complements! Who would have known lol. Her place is so cute and carries one of my favorite skin care lines. Defiantly a fan :)

Sarah at dermal essentials is probably the best salon professional I have ever been to. I’ve only been to her for a tan (multiple times) and she is accommodating, respectful, and knows what she is doing. My tan is flawless everytime because she double checks everything, and makes sure to educate you on proper skin care pre and post tan. I’ve also been one of those customers who comes to her panicked, in need of a tan for a spontaneous event… and no matter what, she always comes through and makes it work. I’m so happy I found her! She deserves every star :)

I’ve been to Sara twice for spray tans. She is friendly, professional, and does a great job. She always makes me feel comfortable (hard to do when I’m standing in my underwear)! I will definitely continue going to Sara for any future spray tans!

Alexa is THEEE ONE to get waxed by. I have been getting waxed by Alexa for years and continue to go to her. She is patient, kind, and knows what she is doing. She is available for appointments and is sweet to talk to. The location is clean and in a safe area. don’t forget to park in the parking garage, it’s free if you are there for less than an hour I think. Alexa will get you in and out in a super fast time. Make your appointment ASAP, she knows what she’s doing!

Alexa is one of the nicest, friendliest, sweetest, and prettiest people ever! I always feel welcomed when I’m here. I recommend going to her for waxing. All the workers have a discount card which is helpful if you are regular. She’s the only person i trust to wax me.

I went in for my first spray tan experience and it was quick and amazing. Sarah was super helpful, nice, and professional. Got to the place around 950 and left by 1010. Its super quick, super easy and Sarah does a good job of educating you on how to keep your tan as long as possible. The best part was how non judgmental she was. I dont exactly have a beach body, but Sarah made me very comfortable, even to do a full body tan. I was a little nervous going in, thinking that I might not be one of her best body looking customers, but she was very professional and non judgmental. Shes very personal in a good way, and I highly recommend anyone who’s interested in spray tanning to give her a try.
Also, few days later, my tan looks amazing. I did the spray tan to cover up some ugly tan lines that developed this summer, and Sarah did an amazing job at blending them in. The tan is even and definitely NO ORANGE anywhere. Cant thank you enough Sarah!

Sarah does absolutely flawless tans! I’ve been getting spray tans for years and years and this one is by far the best. It doesn’t smell bad, she does it very quickly and explains everything thoroughly, it didn’t stain any of my clothes, I had no elbow/​knee/​finger/​wrist splotches, it lasted for a week and a few days and it faded collectively (not just in some spots). The only thing I would recommend is to make sure you moisturize a lot to keep it longer. I definitely will go back and I wish she was closer to Oakland!

Love love love this place! My friend and I got spray tans from Sarah for St. Patty’s day and are so happy with the results! The solution is organic so it doesn’t have any fake orange tint. It only took fifteen minutes and Sarah is super sweet. We’ll definitely be coming back!

If you need a Brazilian wax or any other kind of waxing come to Alexa! She’s so sweet and made me feel comfortable for a service that I’m always shy to do lol. She uses a wax that hurts less than when I’ve been to the European wax center. It’s a cute place… I highly recommend it.

I love Dermal Essentials and have been going to Erika for eyebrow and bikini waxing at her San Francisco shop since she opened it, so for about eight years if I had to guess. I swore I’d never go anywhere else, so when we decided to move to the East Bay, I was thrilled to learn that Erika was opening a new shop in Walnut Creek, perfect! She is extremely skilled at waxing and I completely trust her with my brows. Plus, she is super nice and friendly and the shop is just adorable. Sarah who works there too does spray tans and they are located in the heart of downtown Walnut Creek so it’s super convenient!

The east bay just got lucky! Erika has brought her amazing shop to Walnut Creek, carrying over from Marin and SF success. Dermal Essentials is the only place I will go for my bikini and brow waxing. As I’ve said before in another DE review, I used to get brazillians from a Brazillian woman and Erika’s work is the most thorough and hygienic I’ve ever experienced. The shop is as cute and inviting as it is clean and spotless. Make an appointment and you’ll probably never go anywhere else!

This place is the best! The location is so convenient in downtown Walnut Creek off of North Main. The shop is so cute and clean and Erika the owner is hands down the best waxer you will find! You can also get awesome spray tans and facials from Sarah– I tried the organic facial and loved it! I am also obsessed with the candles and lotions they sell. I would definitely recommend this place!
