DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT use this game truck unless you want to be stuck with many disappointed guests when the truck doesn’t show up at all and the company doesn’t call back nor answer the phone when you call 5 times in a row. I had talked to Eric on the phone, gave him my credit card number for half of the full amount, and gotten an email confirmation for the time and receipt for my payment. He was polite and said he’d show up a few minutes early to prep. Fifteen minutes before, nothing. Party time, nothing. I Called over and over because my son and his 16 friends were excited for the game truck to come. I am still in shock that he never bothered to call back or anything. Thank goodness it was summer and we had a pool to entertain the kids; otherwise, I don’t know what we would have done.
Will warn all my friends not to use this game truck. Unbelievable!!! And my poor son still wants a redo. Guess we’ll try someone else

We had Game Zone come out and setup laser tag for my son’s birthday party. Prior to the event, Erik was great to work with. He had one of his other guys come out and setup our party. He was nice, professional, and GREAT with the kids. Game Zone came and setup a half hour before the paid start time, and started the games earlier than we had paid for. We will use Game Zone again!!!

We attended a holiday party and the host had Erik come with his video game truck. When I told her that we were looking for a video game truck for our son’s ninth birthday party she raved about Erik. I’m so glad we hired him for our party!
We ended up having more kids than we expected, but Erik did a wonderful job getting them all set up with controllers and keeping everything well organized. Erik was great with the kids and stayed focused on them for the duration of the party. He even had them take turns as needed. It was great to be able to relax and to spend time with my adult guests because the kids were well taken care of. They were engaged and had a great time!
Erik was also a pleasure to deal with as a parent and I look forward to having him at a party again in the future.

We hired Game Zone for our son’s 9th birthday party and it was a huge hit! We like the indoor/​outdoor gaming… the kids had a blast and the parents were able to relax… he wants another Game Zone party next year! Thanks!!!

Last year they ran a special on Groupon and I bought it thinking I’d give this company a try. From what I had heard from everybody I talked to that had hired these game truck/​buses was they are fun and nice but pretty pricey. Since I bought a special on Groupon I figured it was worth trying and I am so glad I did. They came for my sons birthday party and it was a hit. The truck showed up on time, set up ad let the kids have fun. If the kids needed help, had questions or wanted the game changed they were on it and very helpful.
This year my son wanted a Halo party and we debated on hiring a game truck again or having a nerf gun shoot out. I called and priced out all the different businesses listed here on Unilocal under game trucks in the Bay Area (from martinez, to Pleasanton and Game Zone was from $ 100 to $ 200 cheeper then all the other companies. I highly suggest this company to anybody wanting a game truck experiance without draining your pocket book.
