Expensive gas that fools you. OK, the gas itself doesn’t fool you, but the station’s signs are pretty sneaky about the credit-​cash price difference. The pumps are slow, and it’s just weird that it’s so empty. Methinks that the fine people of Walnut Creek have figured a whole heck of a lot out, and it’s we out-​of-​towners who get all excited to have an easy-​access gas station on this side of Ygnacio Valley Road.
I won’t be coming back, in case that isn’t already clear. I’d love to go with one star just to show solidarity, but I only felt like I was being screwed. As far as I know, I wasn’t actually being screwed.

Horrible service, horrible smog check prices. They are rude and not helpful!

Don’t waste your time here. Walnut Creek DMV referred me here and it was $ 60-​$ 100 for a smog check, which upon further review is *way* over priced, and they have terrible, terrible service.
Firstly, they failed my visual test of the smog check, because a vacuum liner was broken. I took it to my mechanic who told me there was nothing wrong with it, and they should have passed my car. Secondly, I took it back the next day to get it retested, but they said the smog guy had left early (it was 2:30 in the afternoon) and I would have to come back after the weekend. Thirdly, I took it back after the weekend, and their machine was down, *and* they were incredibly rude to me. The only reason I have come back twice is because they promise a free recheck, but that hasn’t happened yet and I’m becoming skeptical that it ever will. Unethical and terrible business; don’t come here. Ever.

Shady place. Come here for smog check, ask to pay $ 110, then after I was ready to leave drop the price to $ 83(which still too expensive for smog check, but I was already here. never again

I can’t comment on the gas station, but I was pretty unimpressed with their pricing scheme for smog checks. I drove by and stopped to get a smog check done (moving my car to CA from out of state).
The listed price for a compact (honda civic) is $ 100 and goes up from there! I mentioned to them the price seemed high, and they gave me a coupon for 50% off, but fortunately, i asked the DMV for a ballpark for how much a smog check should cost and they quoted $ 25 – 30 (which I found less than a mile away with an online coupon)
Watch out for them trying to rip you off with their service stuff… $ 50 for something another place will charge you $ 25 is unreasonable.
