Interim HealthCare

I’m definitely a fan of Interim. They’ve been taking care of my parents for a couple years now and are ready to help when asked. Even follow up on requests and such. pretty reliabel. One time I called with a question and the man actually answered many of my concerns in the industry, even if his company didn’t do it all the best, he was honest about the ethical standards in the community.

Wish I could give them ZERO stars! DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! I just had total knee replacement surgery. SEVEN MONTHS PRIOR to my surgery, I worked with Ron Marquez to arrange home care post surgery. I did ALL the preliminary legwork to clear the Medicare hurdles and was successful in doing my part. Ron assured me he was doing his part. I personally met with Ron three days prior to my surgery and he said everything was in order. The day before my surgery, I checked in with Ron who told me that his agency could NOT provide the agreed upon services! I asked him when he knew that information and he told me he KNEW the day before but «didn’t have time» to inform me! I was having surgery the next day and I had been in constant communication with Ron and he never once shared this LIFE CHANGING information with me. I am currently home, ALONE, with NO home health care hung out to dry by an agency who is supposed to be CARING FOR PEOPLE WHO CANT CARE FOR THEMSELVES! Run and run fast from this agency! They CANNOT be trusted. Oh… when I went in to speak with Ron personally, there was a person who was just leaving the office and asked to speak to me. That person told me NOT to use Interim and that they had just had the same experience with Interim. I was in a bind because I was just days until my surgery. I SHOULD HAVE LISTENED! STAY AWAY FROM THIS AGENCY!

Thank you Interim Health Care! I am so honored by this service! The professionalism, the care, the comfort in the last stages of my father’s life were invaluable. I can’t express my gratitude enough. This is a truly caring service and wonderful folks to work with. Again, I thank you and highly recommend you to anyone concerned about services and care to the frail or elderly.

Interim Health Care and Joe Bettencourt are angels. When my Dad had a stroke earlier this year he was unable to remember that he had had that stroke, so needed round the clock care to be sure he did not try to get out of bed, and fall. Interim provided just the right ‘sitters’ to be with him while he was recovering. His care givers were happy, loving, effective and became family friends during this time. The thing that really captures Joe Bettencourt’s philosophy about his business is the following: My Dad was transferred to assisted care on Valentine’s Day. That afternoon, as my husband and I were getting him settled in, Joe visited my Dad, bringing a rose and a card for him to sign for Mom. I was speechless that he had thought of that, and tearful at his level of care. He knows that keeping families connected is the very best thing for healing, and goes out of his way to be sure the families feel cared for as well.

Interim Assisted Care has been a saviour for me and my husband. Joe Bettencourts’ group goes the extra mile to help those in need of help during a family illness or infirmity! My husband has been ill for several months. One day last week, I could not take my husband to the hospital to be treated. Joe Bettencourt came to our home, picked him up and took him to his emergency appointment.
Interim Assisted Care has taken the stress off my shoulders in so many ways, including navigating our Long Term Health Care Insurance.
