I’ve really enjoyed working with James for several years, and have some great results in doing so! When I was looking for a trainer, I spoke with several and finally resolved what I was looking for: 1. Educated and credentialed: James has a Master’s Degree in his field of practice. His foundational knowledge helps deliver a great workout with great techniques that prevent injury. He’s also delivered a great education to me just by the advice and Q&A I have during our time together, which is very important to me. 2. Experienced: he’s been doing this for a long time and knows how to deliver results. 3. Personable: I now even consider James a friend, BUT he does not waste time during our hourly sessions chatting away. We get a very good workout in that hour for sure! That being said, I still have a lot of fun during our workouts! 4. Listening skills: He listens very well about any«issues» I’m having with my body. Past or current injuries are assessed and strategies to heal and strengthen the particular area are implemented. 5. Nutritional guidance: James, coupled with his educational background, is very knowledgeable about nutritional matters. I now know a lot more about WHY I’m eating this vs. that. I’d highly recommend James to anyone looking to improve their overall health, strength, flexibility, and don’t mind doing it the RIGHT way!

James and I have been working together for the past 6 years. I have a very sedentary job and as I watch my coworkers get bigger and bigger, James has helped me maintain a healthy and good looking weight and physic level. He is very knowledgable about the body and I have never strained or hurt myself under his guidance even though the weight limits have grown and grown. James makes working out fun and he is very charismatic and likable. Also, he works with my ever changing schedule and fits me in ever week no matter what. I have no doubt I will continue to workout with James into the foreseeable future. Thanks James, you’re the best.

I’ve worked out with James as my trainer for over a year, losing 18% of the fat I was carrying. James is not only great at building strength but also at keeping you focused on your goals constantly checking up on you. I would recommend him to anyone who is either just starting out or trying to focus on a particular goal.

I used to be lazy and skinny fat. Then I finally made a life choice to do something. I saw the progression my powerlifter manager & friend Kate gained from training with James over the years, so I decided to give it a shot. Since lifting with James, I have made so much progress and gains in strength and in the way I look. A year & half ago, I could barely deadlift the 45lb barbell. 6 months ago my 1RM deadlift was 205. James devises a plan that works well with me to achieve my strength goals, that is both very effective and at the same time, very safe. He focuses a lot on technique, old school lifts(the ones that matter!) and is adamant about training all natural. Can’t see myself ever not lifting and I look forward to getting even stronger and hitting those bigger numbers. I would definitely recommend James if you want results in a knowledgeable and safe environment. Thanks for all the help in gainz James!

I was always a cardio queen, never lifting many weights thinking that running would do the trick in getting my body in the shape I wanted… then I met James. I started training with James three months prior to my wedding and he not only helped me achieve all my goals, but exceed every expectation I had of myself. He took the time to understand what I was looking to accomplish and ensured I achieved my goals in a safe and healthy manner. I was always worried lifting weights would«bulk» me up but James taught me that was not the case. Instead I progressively became stronger, more lean, toned and was in what I consider the best shape I’ve ever been in! I continued training with James after the wedding and all throughout my first pregnancy(until a week prior to the delivery date). I would recommend James to anyone at any fitness level. Thank you James for all of your help, I can’t wait to get back to training again!
