I’ve shopped here since they opened 10 years ago. I don’t buy a lot, but what I do buy, I love. Every single time I wear one of the pieces I have purchased here I get compliments. It’s gotten to the point that I tend to gravitate towards the pieces I have purchased as they’re quite different from anything else you see in mainstream retail. And I’m definitely not one of those women that wants to look like everyone else! Love love love this store and the quality pieces!
My latest purchase was for New Year’s Eve — a deep burgundy colored dress with a long sleeve wrap style top and the bottom part is a faux leather with ruching on the sides. I wore it with the same colored tights, black ankle boots, and my grandmothers (vintage) leopard print coat. Another night of many complements!

I LOVE unique clothing made of fine quality and have been shopping at Jeu De Jupe since it opened. Wherever I step out around the bay area, in New York or Europe, people ask me, «Where did you get that outfit.» I can’t wait to tell them all about this great boutique. For me, the value of the merchandise is on a higher scale than the more expensive retail stores in the Bay Area, and you look like you just stepped out of Vogue.
On top of the incredible clothing is the honest and charming personality of the owner Haleh. She works with you to find the right style that fits your physique and will not compliment you just for a sale when something doesn’t look good on you. How many times have you purchased an outfit to get home and look at it again in your own mirror and be disappointed. Come on ladies, we don’t all look good in everything and sometimes, we need a little reality check depending on our size and shape. You can believe that Haleh won’t stir you wrong.
This past weekend I attended my niece’s wedding and was looking for something that made me look HOT! I knew I would find it here, and there it was; this beautiful black sheath with a ruffled bottom. I was quite the DIVA and now have something new to add to my collection of stylish dresses that will last forever.

I purchased a jacket that was on sale for $ 140, and after just three times of wearing, it began to come apart around the sleeves and the botton holes. I brought it back in hopes that the sales staff, after taking a look at it, would allow me to exchange it, but I was wrong. Not only did they not allow an exchange, they told me that, «I should not shop at boutiques any more, because I am never happy with their purchases.» Well, just for the record, I only bought the jacket and a tunic from them at the same time, and I am keeping the tunic, so to have the audacity of them to say that I am not happy and that I should shop only at large department stores is far fetched and extremely rude. Needless, to say I am not going to do business with them anymore.

this is one the best European clothing stores in the entire SF Bay Area. They have the most interesting collection in any season and the staff make shopping an experience. they are not pushy to get you to buy at any cost. they try to find you what you need and fits you best.

Love it, love it, love it… Really unique, European clothing with a goth/​NYish edge. Dresses can be quite pricey, but I just make a beeline to the ample sale rack in the back. The sales staff is professional and really helpful — even clipping the tags off my ensemble before I wore it out the door…

Unique and tongue-​in-​cheek European clothing. The owners do the buying themselves a few times a year on the other side of the big pond. I’ve made some fantastic purchases here, especially during sale periods.
Check it out early in the season for must-​haves nobody else will be wearing, like the GSus Sindustries shark-​themed pieces from last season. Check it out late in the season for seriously marked-​down delights. I love it here and the people are very friendly and personal. As icing on the cake, they’re environmentally conscious and they put little cloth lavender sachets into your shopping bags.
