I’m always afraid of blood testing. Cause my veins usually too tiny so it’s takes a while until the lab professional will complete the procedure. But I was pleasantly surprised cause Mayra did everything very fast and non painful at all!!! Thank you so much!
If I will need to get my blood test done again I will definitely go to Mayra at LabCorp in Orinda again!

I’ve been going to the lab at the John Muir Rossmoor Clinic for many years. I have extremely difficult veins from which to draw blood. Both Katie and Beverly are able to draw my blood, usually in one attempt. They are very personable, kind, and gentle.
The paperwork is another issue due to Lab Corp’s rules. Lab Corp refuses to allow any doctors access to the results, other than the ordering doctor unless the doctor orders copies for your other doctors. They refuse to integrate the results into the John Muir Network, as previously done by the lab when it was owned by John Muir Hospital. They even refuse to send the results to the patient unless you call them to request results sent via US mail. Therefore, there are wasted doctor appointments when results are unobtainable, as well as wasted time awaiting treatment due to missing results. They even refuse to honor a legal HIPPA release at the time of the blood draw! ER doctors are clueless in emergencies until the ordering doctor office enters the results. Previously, it was all automatically entered into the John Muir System. This ineffective system must be changed!
Katie and Beverly deserve five stars; however, he Lab Corp administrative system pulls it down to only two stars.
1÷1÷15 — I am not upgrading the stars because although Lab Corp has consistently sent results to the ordering physician in a timely fashion and the physician is then able to send the data to
for the patient to review, a new problem arose this past year.
When three of my doctors ordered the same blood work, Lab Corp sent significantly different results to each doctor, all from the same blood draw!

This place is great! The staff is friendly and understanding of people’s schedules. I’ve gone here with just 40 minutes to spare and gotten everything I needed in 25. Definitely recommend this Labcorp!

Very unpleasant and unprofessional for a first time experience. Came in at 8:00am today and entered into a unattended front desk and only one staff member working who had extreme attitude. I was not greeted, not given any instruction to sign in or that I was even in the correct location. I was ignored by the staff member when I simply inquired if there was anything I was supposed to do (i.e. sign in) and then given attitude that I hadn’t signed in and a mean glare by the very irritable staff member once she even acknowledged I was even in the room. It was very uncomfortable for a place you should be trying to relax in. I watched the staff member offend two other customers after me as well. If my doctor hadn’t specified I needed to use this company at this location, I would have walked out. Blood draw was average and why this got two stars instead of one. I will be inquiring with my doctor if I can use another Lab for future needs.

I have been directed to LabCorp by my doctor and went online and made an appointment at 9:30am on Wednesday. Receptionist had me sign-​in and directed me to have a seat. At 9:37am she took my paperwork and insurance card. Than I was directed to have a seat again. At 9:45am nurse took me in and took a blood sample. She was professional and quick.
What I really liked was they don’t use any tapes at the end. She wrapped my arm where she put the needle in self sticking gaze. No more sticky tapes. Yes!!!

I have been here several times to get a blood draw. I had to do a glucose tolerance test this morning, and the ladies behind the desk were amazing! They made my 2 hour stay so easy. The facility is clean, quiet, and comfortable. I know I will be back!
