Going through a bankruptcy can be very daunting. Whatever chapter you are in, it’s never fun. We were lucky enough to find Elliott and can with confidence say, he went above and beyond (as did Ellen) on our case and was extremely responsive to any emails, calls, etc. They were excellent in not just calming our nerves, but were extremely honest. We never left a call or in-​person with not knowing what next steps were. Even if we got side blinded by paperwork (as of recent), they were always there to keep us in the know.
That said, 6 years later, he still responds on any questions we have. I would recommend him to anyone and I’d go so far as to reach out on his advice on any further advice if ever we came across a questionable decision.

My experience with Mr. Abrams was horrible. In my opinion, his fees were excessive and his bill exorbitant for the service he was «supposed» to provide. He also adds excessive service charges and continued to bill me when I asked him to stop. When I tried to address my bill with him he was very unpleasant and unprofessional. In the end Mr. Abrams contributed nothing to my case yet charged me over $ 5,000 for what should have been a few hours of his time. In my opinion there are many other more qualified attorneys who would do a better job for far less cost. I rate him a negative 5 stars.

Elliot gave me some good advise on how to handle a strange situation with a life insurance policy. He met with me on short notice, when I had limited information about the policy, and gave me some tips on how to proceed.

Can’t say enough about Elliott and his wonderful assistant, Ellen. We had a nightmare situation arise from a past business failure we thought we had put behind us years ago. Elliott was honest and up front with his opinion of what we should do. He walked us through the process and even found some loopholes we didn’t know about. Ellen was such a rock during the process. She was always willing to answer questions and help, no matter how «stupid» we might think what we were asking about was. The process is stressful enough but these two made it smooth and simple in the end. Highly recommend!

I had no idea of legal matters and chose Mr Abrams from the phone book when I lived in Walnut Creek, CA. My meetings were handled by Ms Johnson, who works with Mr Abrams. She treated the situation so well that I absolutely had no doubt that I was in good hands and that I had made the right decision to call this office. She addressed questions that I didn’t even know that I would have. Only one time did I call the office with a question near the end of my case and it was answered quickly and correctly to the letter of what happened next. Mr Abrams in court was stellar… his reputation with the legal system was obvious. My ordeal went so smoothly that I kept thinking something must be wrong. But it wasn’t, these legal eagles just knew what they were doing. Before I knew it, my case was closed and it was all behind me.

Elliot and Ellen are the best! Having a chain of unfortunate events happen to us we were faced with some serious decisions. Ellilot and Ellen explained throughly our options and let us bounce a number of questions and thoughts off them. They actually turned our shitty situation into a total positive one.
Ellen responds to any question you may have immediately. Ellen even helped us out when she was on her vacation! I can’t say enough positive things about them.

I met with Elliott Abrams regarding my mother’s estate to ensure that I was handling everything appropriately. He was able to meet with me on the same day that I called, he was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. I felt confident in the advice he provided and now have one less thing to worry about in the aftermath of my mother’s death. I highly recommend him.

Abrams office by an acquaintance regarding implications of Short Sale/​Foreclosure. He charges a flat fee as stated in his website to analyze the legal and tax implications for either options.
I was really glad that I went. Sometimes in life you are face with hard things like a job loss and the inability to afford that place you call home anymore. I sought advice from a lot of places, but when it comes down to it you want to really know what the law says about your situation. EA laid out for me tax consequences, legal repercussion and possible left-​hooks scenarios the bank might throw at me. I did ask him if he can look over some papers that i didn’t have with me going into the meeting and he was OK with that which was cool. I am looking forward to moving on with more assurance now thanks to Atty. Abrams’s legal counsel.
