Love this place, Luda always takes her time to listen and explain what she is doing, she can color any type of hair and colors!

IF you want the BEST short, cool– long pixie –go no further! Luda has so much experience, she can mold my fine, thinning hair like the expert she is! She can mold any hair and will be very honest with you on cuts that may or may not work for you.

I have been going to Luda almost 10 years and despite the drive from Livermore, I’m happy to make it to see her. I appreciate that she is incredibly knowledgeable and continually educating herself/​staying on top of current trends. When INOA came out, she was one of the first hair stylists to get certified. She prioritizes non ammonia products and is an expert in color.
I like that she has a vision and helps me pick styles best suited for my hair. In the past I’ve always had something in mind that didn’t quite turn out the way I had anticipated. This can be a draw back if you are set on a firm idea, as she may encourage you to try something else. That said, I think it’s great to be challenged and have that food for thought. It’s what I expect from a professional who knows her stuff.
Luda is great and always does her best to make you feel comfortable. As a working mom, it’s one of my true pleasures to escape into her salon. Her work does take time, on average 2 hours for cut and color, but it is worth it.

Chris is awesome, i always feel so beautiful when I leave. Last time I was in I wanted to cop my hair, board wanted to do something different. Chris always listens and then gives feedback. He reminded me that I dont like to do my hair everyday. With the cut i wanted i would have too! So we decided to add some extensions for fun. LOVED IT!!!

Luda has been my hair stylist for 20 years. I have thick hair that I like to wear short but still want to look girlie and Luda always gives me a look I love and I receive many compliments on my hair cut and how well it suits my face. Luda uses a razer to cut my hair and is thoughtful to put in brand new blade in so it does not pull and the cut is symmetrical and balanced. She never assumes i want to keep the same cut i had last appointment and consults with me each time about what she is going to do and explains her plan along the way. Luda is always on time for our appointments and confirms the night before. She continues to update her education and introduces new products each time I see her. I recently started coloring the gray in my hair and added red highlights, it’s updated and stylish and all Luda! I would not go anyplace else.

Chris and Luda are great. Chris has cut my hair a few times and did an amazing job and always makes me laugh with his stories. Him and his mom did my husband’s and my hair for our wedding and we looked awesome!

Chris did a brazilian blowout on my hair, I’ve had it done quite a few times other places and he did it in nearly ½ the time it usually takes, this is not a good thing as I also found it did not last as long or was not as straight at the roots as it usually is when I get it done. I do have really thick naturally curly hair and he said he had not done hair like mine before so maybe that was the problem. He did seem quite knowlegable about hair etc. so for the right type of hair he is probably great. If you have thick hair and are considerig a brazilian blow out, I would suggest checking to see if he’s had more experience with that type of hair. I had to get it redone less than two months later so I really didn’t save money using the trubates special but it cost me more in the long run as it didnt last as long as it usually does.

I’ve been seeing Luda for about 2 years… she’s always done a good job, but the last time I came, I asked her to take off all the «orange» color off my hair. I’ve moved, so I was forced to see another stylist that made my hair look orange and brassy… so after a year, I drove back 90 miles to have her do my hair…
don’t know what the heck happened, but my highlights are so brassy… The color on top of my head is like different from the bottom… its like super orange. She didn’t get my hair more natural brown as I wanted… and my husband doesn’t think that my hair looks any different.
I left her a message and she did call me back, but I can’t drive down again for her to fix it…$ 160 and I had to re-​do the color. So dissapointed. My hair is super orange and nothing what I wanted it to look. She did say that they are trying a new product and maybe it failed…
I was hoping that she wasn’t going to cash my check since I let her know that I had to re-​do, but she did.
Wont go back…

I am new to the area and hate, Hate, HATE trying to find a new stylist. I’ve learned over time that color-​assisting a natural redhead is anything but easy — either the color fades after 3 weeks or is just plain *pink*…eek! Chris did an outstanding job on the color as well as the cut. I have quirky hair that has a mind of its own, and he did not flinch. Not only was Chris confident about both cutting and coloring (a rarity — usually a person feels confident about either/​or, and then quietly sucks at the other, hoping nobody will notice). I’m now 4 weeks out from my visit with Chris — both the color and the cut are still Fabulous. No need to look further… Chris will knock your socks off!

I have been using chris for 3 years now. I refuse to go anywhere else. He’s done everything from taking me from brown to bleach blonde back to brown. Chris is so fun and makes you right at home. He also did my Brazilian blowout which is the best thing in the world!!! Ive never had Luda do my hair but everytime I see her do anyones hair it looks amazing. Chris has been my hairstylest for many years now. I look forward to my haircuts and colors for so many reasons! He is flexible, affordable and is creative with his cuts/​color. Chris is dedicated to reguarly sharpening his skills through attending diverse trainings so that he can provide his clients with a plethora of options depending on each clients style. Chris is professional, thorough and commited to a high quality service approach. Over the years, my style has changed many times and Chris has been open and excited to try new and different hair cuts and colors. He listens to what his clients want and delivers even more than expected! One of my favorite aspects of Chris’ work is how long his color lasts… don’t know how the kid does it! He uses natural products that don’t fry your hair. He is a total rock star and I always leave the salon happy! Go get em’ everyone before it’s too late!

Chris has been highlighting my hair for over a year now. He came highly recommended by a good friend of mine who had been going to him and Luda for 10+ years. Chris is THE BEST stylist I have found for the look I am going for: Natural Blonde. I never used to need highlights until the last few years when my very blonde hair starting getting darker. Before Chris, I tried 5 different stylists in the Walnut Creek area none of which gave me the results I wanted. Chris is affordable, professional yet fun, and you just can’t beat his expertise when it comes to color and cuts! So glad to have finally found him!

Luda does a phenomenal job at a great price! When I come to Luda she listens to me and gives me the exact cut I wanted. Everyone wants to know who does my hair!
Luda has years and years of experience, she attends professional hair shows and constantly learning the newest and most advanced techniques of coloring and cutting the hair. Luda has top quality hair scissors and styling tools.
If you need to color your hair you will love the results, Luda is the best colorist, she knows so many different techniques of coloring a hair, just ask her! She uses paper instead of foil which is much gentler and will make the hair looks shiny, she works with ammonia– and damage-​free products. Luda does razor-​cut techniques too.

I have searched a long time to find Luda. I have the crappiest hair in the world to cut. It’s fine, thin, lots of cowlicks and basically just a pain in the butt. I’ve had really expensive haircutters say how hard my hair is to cut. So, needless to say I’ve had ALOT of bad haircuts in my life.
But, as long as Luda is alive and cutting hair, I’ll never have to suffer again! She really listens to what you want and DOES what you want. What a concept!
She’s also incredibly reasonably priced AND will do appointments on Mondays (my day off). She’s PERFECT as far as I am concerned.
