Around the WCKP campus there’s not a whole lot going on in terms of food options, opted for this place for quick lunch. Service is friendly, food is pretty good. Doesn’t top the list but if you’re in the area this is a pretty safe bet.

I couldn’t be more happy that I live so close to this gem of a Vietnamese spot. The staff are extremely friendly, and the food is always great. I had stopped in for maybe my 3rd(ever) visit, and the woman at the front register had remembered my name and order. I thought that type of memory and attention to detail of the customer was so special, and I feel like I’m finally considered a regular! Highly recommended — the tofu/vegetable noodle soup and egg rolls are my go-to.

Unilocalers led me here, and so delicious. I ordered to go and it was ready in 10 minutes. I had the chicken salad, which tasted so fresh. The spicy chicken was wonderful and I tried the garlic rice which was so light and fluffy. I will be back.

Great location, near Kaiser, Trader Joes, and shops. Easy parking in a small strip mall. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good service. TVs with football and other sports. Seems to be a lot of locals coming in. Vegetarian phở. Regular meat broth was pretty good, noodles okay. If not the best phở I’ve ever had, at least it’s the best in the immediate area.

Came here w/fiancé to meet her friend who recently got a job across the street. As we had a huge lunch that day at Favorite Indian, we decided to go light on ordering. I ordered a Thai iced tea for a drink and also ordered their spicy wings. The Thai iced tea was perfect. Easily one of the better ones I’ve had since moving up here. No trace of gritty unmixed powder or anything cheap tasting like that. Tasted like they used real half and half or mocha mix. The wings on the other hand were anything but spicy. Moreover they lacked any real character. Just flat and very ordinary. They came out a bit soggy from the dressing. If you’ve had Korean style fried chicken, you know that nice crispy crust can hack the dressing without getting too soft, right? Well this plate of wings was anything but that. If I order wings again, it’ll be just plain wings no sauce. The service was very professional. I really like the owners and staff here. But the food needs improvement. Everything I’ve had here to date just does seems so watered down. Kevin’s on Main St is still our go-to Vietnamese restaurant in Walnut Creek.

Ordered veggie chow fun. I know this is not a typical dish to order at a Vietnamese phở restaurant but thought I’d try. Quality wasn’t bad but taste was a little bit sweeter than what I’m used to. Staff is always friendly. Open space interior is nice. Food is good enough to come to if you don’t feel like finding parking or waiting to be seated at Kevin’s noodle house.

One of the FAVORITE vietnamese place in Walnut Creek. Growing up in San Jose and recently moved to Concord I decided to give this place a try. My boyfriend and I came here with an open mind to try this place together because we were craving noodle soup. The restaurant itself is very well kept and has a nice modern look to it. We were greeted by Kyle, the owner. He was very welcoming and was also very attentive throughout our experience. I had their Bun Bo Hue and my boyfriend had the Phở Dac Biet with the Tofu Salad to share.(my mouth is watering just thinking about it) Both soups were flavorful and I absolutely fell in love with their tofu salad! It was the overall experience from the moment we entered to when we paid for our meals that left me with such a good taste in my mouth to wanna leave this review. We all know to not expect the greatest service from asian restaurants so to find one that actually does show a little more care makes it all worth your while. Give this place a try if you haven’t yet!

Not a big fan of Vietnamese food, but after going here because my husband had a craving I’m changing my tune! The food was so fresh! I really liked the curry beef. Everything was very flavorful, but not over the top like they are disguising something. Staff was very friendly, and the interior was very bright and clean!

Negative: Their phở is just okay. Bland, watery broth, but decent meats. Positive: Huge portion sizes, friendly service, and convenient location.

Tasty broth and fresh, fresh basil and bean sprouts make an awesome phở. I’ve also had their wonton noodle soup which has the same great broth and generous quantity of thin skinned, meat filled Hong Kong style wonton. Only one negative — there are a lot of flies at this place.

Inexpensive, fast, and good. They didn’t have what I wanted on the menu cause it was a craving and they made it for me anyways :)!

Staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The tofu phở with vegetables was good… The broth was bland(could be improved). They serve regular and large size. and I couldn’t even finish my regular size! Phở comes with all the regular toppings. I liked the location, as it is close to Trader Joe’s(and Kaiser) and has plenty of parking in the lot.

Dropped in for lunch craving phở. We had chagio, it tasted like the frozen ones I buy. It also didn’t come with lettuce leaves and fish sauce and slivered. It was disappointing. The phở tai also lacked the rich deep flavor I have come to expect. So won’t be back.

I LOVED and STRONGLYRECOMMEND the shrimp spring rolls, spicy chicken with white rice, and grilled pork on rice vermicelli with minced peanuts(add a dab of chili hot sauce to the fish sauce that you get on the side before mixing). The staff was also extremely helpful and friendly. My new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the Bay Area, and definitely the best in Walnut Creek.

My wife ordered Vegetarian Phở. They soup base was pretty bland. I tasted it too and concur. It was oily too. She only ate 1⁄3 of it. I ordered Chicken Clay Pot. When I got it it came in a metal pot. It tasted okay and the rice was garlicky. But again it needed more flavor. The reason you want it in a clay pot cause the rice continues to cook and gets crispy on the bottom which is tasty. The chicken salad tasted good. It had some green papaya, cabbage, and white meat chicken. This was the only dish that was a 4 star.

Food is so good here omg, but the drive is very far. The owner is very nice and for the price of what you get, it’s not bad actually. Kyle, the server is the most polite server I’ve ever met! Some things i got to try out: 1. Phở: not too heavy in flavor or salty, but the taste determine s what part of vietnam the broth is from. I think my dad told me north vietname broth are on the sweeter side, but this broth wasn’t sweet. 2. Papaya salad: this has peanuts for anyone allergic or not a fan of peanuts!!! Shredded green papaya similar to the thai, but different in taste. Vietnamese papaya salad has a stronger fish sauce taste and has shrimp. Thai papaya salad has a spicy lemony fish sauce taste with tomato, chili peppers, garlic and rock sugar. I strongly prefer the thai style better. The papaya salad here tasted like it has watered down fish sauce. 3. Grilled pork spring rolls were so good!!! Came with the peanut dip. Can’t remember if this was on the menu though… i let my dad order. 4. Com tam thit nuong: broken rice with grilled pork. One of my fav vietnamese dishes, but i can taste the pork made with so much sugar. It’s too bad they don’t have vegetarian com tam or with bbq chicken… Tea is $ 2 for large size and a doller for small or iced. I don’t understand why asian restaurant charges for tea now a days when it’s a staple for asian restaurants other than making more money. Jasmin tea isn’t expensive! Overall though, this place is so worth the drive every now and then. There are places closer to us that are also as good. There is a section on the menu for tofu btw. Walnut creek is actually a nice area. It’s worth it to explore the city before taking another hour long car ride home.

Better than the local competition. I’ve seen so many locals eating here. And in Walnut Creek, where everyone has a stick up their *ss I feel like that’s impressive. Great service. Fantastic bun…#32 with grilled pork and egg roll is the best. Fantastic spring rolls, general peanut sauce portions. The papaya salad blow your stuffy suburban minds.

This is a great neighborhood Vietnamese restaurant. My husband and I are regulars here, probably stopping in at least 2 times a month, as it’s right down the street from us. The spring rolls are really good. They have a nice amount of shrimp and I love the peanut sauce(with extra sriracha ;]). The phở is tasty too… sometimes it’s a little too greasy for my tastes, but it’s not bad. I think it depends on the combination of meats you pick. The vermicelli is a yummy choice too. Also, all of the dishes come with generous amounts of meat, so don’t worry about being hungry after… That’s never the case for us! While it’s not the BEST phở I’ve ever had, but it’s always quick, hot, and tasty. The servers are nice, as well, and the restaurant is clean and spacious.
