Seibert Richard R, MD

Does anyone know who took on Dr Seibert’s patients? I am trying to locate my file but dont know where to go. I called his old office number and it’s disconnected.

Dr. Seibert delivered my 4^th child, after Dr. Kaplan (downstairs in the same office building) let me know that he was no longer delivering babies. I was disappointed that Dr. K would be unable to see me through another pregnancy, but I’m also grateful that I met Dr. Seibert — an incredibly experienced, thoughtful, and caring doctor. He also has a fantastic staff and a calm and inviting office.
My pregnancy, in general, was fairly uneventful — until I hit 36 weeks. Thats when things got crazy, and in the last few days it reached the point that I was calling Dr. Seibert (or he was calling me) at all hours to find out how things were going. Whether I was calling at 5 PM on a Tuesday or 5 AM on a Sunday, I always got a quick call back from Dr. Seibert.
Dr. Seibert took all of my symptoms very seriously and spoke to me about my condition with a quiet confidence that only comes from someone with a ton of experience. I felt very strongly about carrying my baby to 39 weeks, and he let me keep baby in my belly as long as I possibly could. But my condition worsened quickly and he finally had to do an emergency c/​section at 37 weeks. despite the fact that he couldn’t make a full/​formal diagnosis of my condition without lab work that would take several days to get back.
My husband was out of town when Dr. Seibert let me know that I needed a c/​section that day. But Dr. S kindly waited until my husband flew back from Denver so that he could be there for the delivery, which pushed my surgery long after regular business hours. In the mean time, Dr. Seibert’s office made sure that the hospital had all the paperwork they needed and that the hospital staff was ready to roll as soon my husband arrived.
Dr. Seibert was able to make a timely diagnosis based on pretty much nothing but vague and hormonal descriptions of my symptoms and his incredible professional judgment. As it turns out, he was right — and he let me know after I had delivered that my lab results had come in, confirming that we had made the right decision. My baby boy was born perfectly healthy and with no post-​delivery complications whatsoever.

I was very disappointed with the care that I received from Dr. Seibert. He would explain everything very quickly and never allowed any time for me to clarify or ask questions. He’d invite me into his office for «privacy» but l would only be in there long enough for him to write a prescription. Then he’d get up and walk out to the reception area. Finally I got fed up with feeling rushed through the office and having to ask personal questions in the lobby with the reception staff and other patients looking on.

I absolutely agree. I think he is so knowledgable in so many different areas and the nurses are wonderful!

Dr. Seibert is my OB and delivered both my daughters. He is very knowledgeable. I’ve almost never had to wait for an appointment (which I appreciate).
He can sometimes come across as a little cold, but I think it’s his military background. He is very warm to my daughter when she would come along for pre-​natal visits.
His staff is really nice.
