Talbots Petites

Good store. A good number of employees ready to help. Melinda was probably the most helpful salesperson I’ve encountered. I drove from San Jose to check out their plus petites, and I was happy I did.

Went with my mom once. The clothes are fine for mature women – a little pricey, but decent quality. My complaint is with some of the staff members.
We were looking at petite clothes when one of the younger (my age?) sales associates literally HOVERED over us… It was so awkwardly uncomfortable. Did she ask us if we needed help? Nope. Did she give us recommendations? Nope. Was she folding clothes? Nope. She was just. standing like two feet away from us, staring blankly. Seriously, you think I was going to pickpocket some mom jeans? Not the way you treat customers.
The rest of the staff is a a rather eclectic mix – some very warm and approachable, others just. wow. When I see employees like that, I think of all the jobless people who could be doing theirs SO much better.

Wonderful store ! I’m very traditional and love finding Talbots ! This may be my new home away from home !

I usually head in here during Christmas/​Birthday time because my mother adores their turtlenecks. Me, I won’t touch a turtleneck with a ten foot pole, but I head here for her.
They have great boot socks, which are awesome for cold floors too. Their high quality gift wrapping is great and they usually have good friendly help.
Nothing here is really my style, but it’s great for gifts.
